Very interesting read, both the article and the comments. I don't wish to add anything else other than Sealed with a Kiss crossed way too many lines. I know the other aspects you mentioned like the forced kissing and the wrist grabbing are problematic, but Sealed had several scenes of physical and sexual abuse. He raped her, beat her up, psychologically abused her for the drama's entire run and it's still seen as "romance" or is twisted into making people believe it could have been consensual. None of it was consensual in any way. That is all. It's the most serious case I've seen in a drama, I think.

Just read on a news report that this will end around February. I guess it's a 50 episode run after all :/

Perhaps those websites are going with the weekender = 50episodes thought. I don't know really, maybe I am mistaken and this is a long run drama after all but going through the previous dramas in this time slot, the last one that was supposed to be a long running makjang was My Heart Twinkle Twinkle (which did not do well at all and was cut to 26 episodes). After that, SBS has chosen to air 16-18 episode dramas like Divorce Lawyer in Love and The Time We Were not In Love, to try and win back the timeslot with a different strategy. Going by this train of thought, I Have a Lover is another 16ep drama ^^

It was probably never meant to be 50 episodes. Weekend dramas tend to have that episode count (but mostly on KBS and MBC), and this timeslot on SBS has been filled with shorter dramas for a while now. This one was probably 16 episodes since the beginning.

I'm actually looking forward to My Daughter, Geum Sa Wol the most. Baek Jin Hee as lead, Yoon Hyun Min as male lead, Park Se Young and a ton of awesome veterans. Starts early September (or late August, still unsure). Can't wait!

Viki is the only place that's subbing this drama, as far as I know. They have subbed until episode 17 so far.

We have to be patient and wait for more episodes :)

He gave one of the scariest (read: best) performances I've ever seen on Soredemo, Ikite Yuku.

I want to buy Confessions someday. Hope more of Minato Kanae's novels are translated in english soon :)

Similar structure to ISWAK/TKA then :) it's not a bad idea if they manage to pace it well. I saw some photos around of them shooting the wedding episode.

There's also a 'blink and you'll miss it' thing between Seo Jun and Su Hyeon.
