Drama is nice

Nice most watch drama. Kim ji won best as always. She deserves many powerful role. She can make any drama hit with out male actors. She proved world again about her acting skills.
Kim Ji-won has once again solidified her status as one of South Korea's most versatile actresses with her commanding performance in SBS's medical thriller, Doctor X: Age of the White Mafia. Stepping into the role of Gye Soo-jung, a freelance genius surgeon navigating a corrupt hospital system, she delivers a masterclass in acting that balances razor-sharp intensity with deep human vulnerability. Following her glamorous turn in Queen of Tears, Kim undergoes a striking transformation—sporting a natural look and short hair—proving that her brilliance comes from within, not just her aesthetic appeal.
What makes Kim Ji-won truly exceptional in Doctor X is her absolute dedication to realism. Before filming, she spent hours training alongside real medical advisers to perfect complex surgical sequences, suturing, and knot-tying. Her movements in the operating room are so highly convincing that they earned spontaneous applause from the consulting medical professionals on set.
On screen, she commands the room as a "medical dark hero", fearlessly speaking truth to power and calling out materialistic medical authority figures with chilling confidence. Yet, Kim's true genius lies in her ability to switch gears instantly. Outside the operating room, she plays Soo-jung as a socially awkward, quirky, and lovable klutz carrying heavy emotional baggage. This duality gives the character immense depth. Director Lee Jung-rim heavily praised her intuitive acting, noting how seamlessly Kim filled in unwritten gaps to make the character remarkably three-dimensional. Kim Ji-won does not just play a doctor; she owns Doctor X, giving fans an unforgettable performance filled with cathartic satisfaction and emotional resonance.
