I really wanted to love this drama cause of the pairing of ZLS and WAY but for some reason it just wasn't doing it for me. Maybe it was the writing but it just seemed like a lot of things didn't make sense. All of a sudden the Demon God wanted to help and change his fate or Hua Shu doing a 180. Just seems a bit lacking sadly

So glad this drama stuck the landing so well even though our CP didn't get together a bit later than I would've liked.

I think I'm just more mad that she brought the Yan Army into the whole mess...like why do they need to risk their lives for ZZ. Maybe's it a plot hole since I didn't think anyone could use the army without the seal

Why is FL ruining everything??? XW literally had everything in place and her loved stricken self had to ruin it for everyone

Maybe it's the main point of the back and forth but I'm getting tired of the little misunderstandings and cold shoulders. Also I think BL is in her element but WHD doesn't seem to be that dynamic...is it just his character?

I'm a bit confused about the mistress. Is there 2 different actresses since the story doesn't really line up that the niece is working under Shu Yi but is supposed to be the mistress that took her boyfriend and had an argument in the bakery?

In the letter that he gets in ep 28 and he's smiling, it's actually an update on HQ, so he knows she's still alive

I wasn't planning to start this drama...and then I did and am all caught up 2.5 days later, haha!

I love how gray each character is and how everything is based on perspective. I can understand everyone's motives and why each person did what they did. So different than our typical cdramas!

How does this drama only have 24 episodes??? Each episode is a masterpiece...24 is too little

I already finished the novel while I was waiting for episodes hahaha I finished in 3 days without stopping like a crazy person

UGH. I feel so lost after the first season has ended since theres just so much more that needs to happen. This waiting for Season 2 is going to kill me.

I just finished the novel (reading day and night) in 3 days since I couldn't wait for the episodes. But wow, a masterpiece. I hope they're able to capture it all in the drama. Can't wait!
