they don't make kdramas like these anymore

i had watched this drama years ago and just finished my yearly rewatch. this is still my #1 drama. genuinely a must watch for everyone who craves a real romcom which is pure and unadulterated fun without some terminal illness or weird serial killer plot. the subplots here and everything related to the sports theme and side characters were actually very fun and the serious ones were also never too heavy. they really don't make kdramas like these anymore.

the most natural friends to lovers ever done in my opinion. you could literally see why they fell in love with each other and witness the process of them falling for each other gradually with each episode. it wasn't some grand love at first sight. they were in love with other people first, met each other and became each other's best friend and comfort person and then naturally developed feelings. it was so simple yet so beautifully done. the natural and insane chemistry made it very obvious they were dating irl when this was airing (i will never forget you my parents namlee). i'll miss this show forever and really wish the leads could work together again (this is impossible btw but i choose to be delusional for my own peace).
