How is this show so real? I've been only watching drama shows, i hate slice of life because well.. my life is just that. Boring, Mundane and Repetitive. I initially thought this show was going slow. But right now I am at episode 7 and I can say that's the reason I am loving this show. Its slow, which makes me appreciate every little development that occurs. Screaming whenever Mr.Gu smiles, or any of them smiles, smiling so hard my cheeks hurt whenever MJ and Mr. Gu utter 1 sentence to each other. It speed at which events occur makes me appreciate all these small events, and I love it so much.
All the characters are so interesting. Mysterious Gu, Love-starved Gi-Jeong, Brutally honest Chang-Hee, Extroverted Hyeon-Ah and the Tired-with-life Mi-jeong. I love all their characters.
This show gets better with every episode and if you are conflicted on whether to watch it or not, this is your sign to just start!
and during the whole ticket issue, i was holding my breath thinking they'd start blaming Mijeong for not hiding he tickets when she saw them. but it didnt happen! i need to keep in mind this isnt a drama, its a slice of life lol.
isn’t it funny? People compared ABP and Crazy Love saying “this was is better than that one!” etc etc only for both the shows end with the ML proposing to the FL with the same ring from the same brand under cherry blossoms after a small timeskip 😭
Its like the director’s way of saying, “stop hating and just enjoy both of these fun, amazing shows!” And i love it.
oh thank fucking god. i so wished Gojin wasn't the reason Segi's sister committed suicide. We'll talk about Segi's dumbness another time but, i really liked this episode. Realising you did something wrong and actually apologising for it is something alot of people dont do. So glad Gojin apologised to the Secretaries and the Ex-English instructor. Her story was so heartbreaking. It reminded me of the ongoing kdrama Tomorrow. About how even a few kind words go a long way. I hope the Instructor decides to live a happier life, maybe with less plotting to kill Gojin or herself.
This episode contained so much suicide, attempted suicides i thought i was watching Tomorrow..
But good penultimate episode. Hope Segi and Gojin go back to being brothers again honestly. Segi was just blinded by anger, even tho he believed a stupid text by an anon person but anyways.. If Gojin can be redeemed so can Segi.
Surprised BSY wasnt annoying in an episode lol. Atleast she finally realised, Gojin didn't think of the breakup the same way she did. still hate her, but hope she can finally let him be now.
oh w o w. what an episode that was. That took such a dark turn, and i am loving it. Most of these characters for real have a LOT of reflecting to do. Alot of them are doing bad things then expecting to be forgiven easily.
First, Gojin with his mean, rude behavior, looking down on others and being too unforgiving. I love that the show didn't make his character change suddenly. Yes, he was all lovey dovey the past 2 episodes, but he is still him. He still doesn't get why no one spoke up for him, or why he is getting all these hate messages. Yes he doesnt deserve the death threats, or even get explosives blown up on him. But he needs to realise that stress, trauma and anxiety can do that to a person. Some people fall apart, that's why no one should treat anyone else horribly. I can't wait to see him finally realise the way he has been acting with other is not okay, and never okay. I expect him to apologise to everyone he has wronged, otherwise i will not be satisfied. He is fr a shitty person lmao. Him as a rich CEO is very realistic. I do hope he gets some charatcer development because i dont want to hate him since he is well.. the main character
Secondly, Segi. Blaming Gojin for something that he didn't cause. Like dude, your sister stole test papers and got punished for it. If a teacher is doing things like this, then who do students trust?
Thirdly, Baek Sooyoung. The most annoying of all. So blinded by her obsession with her first love. She doesn't realise that she doesn't get to leave and abandon someone who loved her and then come back after 12 years and suddenly expect them to love you.
Gojin does not owe you anything. Yes., you mightve done it to protect him, but its his life. He will love whoever he wants She talked to her dad, talking about how she hated him and how she'd never be like him. Well, gues what you are now, Sooyoung,, emberassing truly.
The one person i hope truly suffers is ms. Ma. She's actually horrible. She is just like Gojin actually. She bullied Sina the entire time she worked there, was rude to others, leaked company material to competing companies. Having a son and not being financially stable is no excuse for this. what did she expect?? like come on. stop crying.
Segi is literally burying himself atp. Dude arranged a shareholder's meeting, well little does he know, Gojin knows everything, and he has no amnesia. I cant wait for karma to come and kick his ass.
Ah. This drama is indeed unpredictable. I absolutely love the fact that they didn't drag out the misunderstanding that Sina had regarding Gojin's feelings about her. The way he left and came back within ten seconds and hugged her /3
he is so precious and the scouting misunderstanding didnt last long either.
i hope they both don't break up because of Sooyoung :///
oh wow! CWI for real got Noh to be the witness. i love th way she thinks, and this has made things much more interesting. i had a feeling Noh was going to betray the general, but i didnt think it would be like this, she is very bold indeed.
can we talk about the c h e m i s t r y though. like come on. this episode got me smiling so much my cheeks hurt. if "seeing you eat makes me full' could be defined by one scene, it would be here, when DBM was looking at CWI eat, and even offering her his food. he is so cute. this is all coming from someone who didnt even start this show for the romance. but the subtle stares, awkward silences when they become aware of each other, their chemistry and like just the way they smile at each other has got me swooning. i love slow paced romance when it's done right
Till episode 10 - Just a few moments (literally maybe 2 scenes) of romantic tension.
there is slight romance, the male lead is falling for the girl, and they obviously have chemistry are like each other. there is little romance and it wont be the main focus of the show
I haven't started watching this drama yet . Is this drama recommended?? Worth watching??
yes totally worth it! the cast is great, the ost is amazing, the characters are very unique. theres also slight humor which is also fun. i highly recommend it!
Rewatched a few parts of the episode, still dislike the way Gojin went about her being an instructor. But now I think it might've been his way of making her live the rest of her limited days (in his mind) stress-free, and by his side. I'd be shocked and scared if someone I loved had cancer and would want to keep them by my side. But its just his initial reaction, i would love to see him realise in order to make her truly happy, she needs to achieve her dreams. Loving Gojin's growth, his trauma and abandonment issues break up heart. I hope he gets nicer to not only Sina but also to his colleagues.
Yes I was upset that he excluded her from the audition but then his confession still got me lol.. however, I think…
i thought he was talking about Best friend guy tbh, but now that u say that, it makes sense too. ifl gojin is not going to let anything happen the way they want to.
Ugh! I absolutely detest break ups especially towards the end of the show so I really hope there isn't one. It…
EXACTLY. i thought FLAW would bring something new to the table but NO. the whole cycle of breaking up and making up drove me nuts. especially since both of them were adults who were in a relationship previously ugh
Weekly Watchers, brace yourselves. We have officially entered the double digits.. brace yourself for misunderstandings, 13th episode break ups and side characters plotting and doing everything to break the main couple apart..
EDIT: i am not saying there WILL be all this. i am just saying this because of most kdramas going thru this route after like the 12th episode. i am hoping CL will be different, since the show's beauty lies in it's unpredictability.
