Yes the Min political family. If you haven't done so already, check out the all the character descriptions linked from the Cast page. Here is his: https://kisskh.at/character/min-jeong-u
Also, FYI I reposted the gist of this at the top 'cos this is now further down the page and I'd love to gather others' input on who may be behind the assassinations.
Maybe all of the royal deaths are accidental, and not assassinations? All (or most of) their deaths are suspicious, but at this point who knows? 🤷🏻♂️ The first king died of a heart attack. His wife the queen died after being struck by the WTOD. Their 1st son (next king) died in the palace fire.
The third king almost died in a car crash (along with the FL) but was saved by the ML. It seems obvious she was the intended target and not the boy. There was no foreknowledge the boy king would be in the sabotaged Bugatti. He would have been collateral damage had the plot succeeded.
I suspect the Yuns (queen dowager and/or her father) may be behind the car crash, but not the Mins (the prime minister). There is also a small possibility that it was the FL's own father who is behind the sabotage. If any or all of the aforementioned royals were indeed assassinated, then I suspect the Mins, but not the Yuns (or the FL's father). If there are any other suspects I don't think we know who they are.
Please poke holes in my logic or share whatever I missed.

It gets confusing (I get confused.) Sorry, but this post is long!
The Yun family produced four queens, including the current queen dowager. Her father ("Jin Mu") is also a Yun. I seriously doubt they are behind the royal deaths.
If the Yuns were plotting any assassination, it was towards the FL whose car was sabotaged. And so we may get a scene where the queen dowager and her father discuss the fact that had the grand prince not thwarted the assassination attempt by placing himself in danger, the boy king would have been collateral damage. Or, it may have been either of them acting alone and we could get to see the fallout from that. Or, they could both be innocent of the car incident. 🤷🏻♂️
I suspect the Yuns were behind the attempt on the FL's life, while the Mins (2ML political family) were behind the royal assassinations.
The former king was still alive when queen dowager Yun walked away from the palace fire. So either another person (maybe 2ML) used the fire as an opportunity to cover up the murder of the king, or the king took his own life, which is possible but doubtful. (He wanted to abdicate the throne to save his life, not end it.)
So I think the political Min family (specifically the 2ML Prime Minister) are the likely suspects of the royal deaths (both of the grand prince's parents and his brother—Two kings and a queen). It could be someone else, or else some or all of those deaths could be accidental, and not assassinations, but who knows? 🤷🏻♂️
But I don't think the 2ML is behind the car sabotage because he likes the FL and has no reason to kill her. And there was no foreknowledge that the boy king would be in the car. He did try to stop the FL from driving and didn't do much if anything to dissuade the boy king from going, so it is possible he was involved. But again, this is a romance and he is the 3rd point in their love triangle, so no.
Again, sorry for the long post. Please anyone do point out the holes in my logic!
I think it's more that she is not into him and actually cares about the prince.
This may be true (in fact I agree), but she should have been more direct and honest about her feelings. She likely gave him hope which will cause problems later!
I am on ep2 was the queen mother who killed the previous king? How come no one saw her going into his room or when…
This was implied in that scene, but unconfirmed. We may yet learn another culprit was behind his death. Or maybe he merely chose to die. We do not know why he didn't simply walk out of the palace fire as did the queen.

I'm still considering the possibility that Jin Mu is a misdirect. His physical appearance is too spot-on as a melodrama villain, and we haven't seen him act accordingly yet. I suggest the 2ML may be more nefarious than anyone suspects. That would be a twist!
😂🤣😂 Fun fact: About a hundred years ago, 'hot tomato' was an idiom referring to an attractive female. So it kinda works! (Although coming from her brother its cringe!)
사업가 (saeopka) = entrepreneur while sabotage is just 사보타주 (sabotaju)
It's originally French.
"A sabot is a wooden shoe, formerly worn in rural Europe, and it later became the word for a metal “shoe” or bracket used in construction and laying railroad tracks. The French verb saboter originally meant “to secure with a metal bracket” but also came to mean “to botch” or “to do in a clumsy or slipshod way.” Finally, it came to have the “deliberate destruction,” a meaning, which, some have said, came about because of striking workers who threw their wooden shoes in the factory machinery to cause it to stop and break."
One time (CLOY) the WTOD wore green army camouflage, but yeah! Could you imagine if MDL has a character page for the WTOD? The credits list of appearances would be incredibly long!
If this was real life, the investigation for the crown would have already taken that store footage and found that…
Someone got to that guy first, and the likely suspect is whoever ordered the hit. Instead of interrogating him they eliminated the threat. Dead men do not talk.
