in 1st episode that women with short hair why did she lie that no one is there during the house collapse thing?
because she was sleeping over at her partner's and at that time, such acts of intimacy were almost forbidden ("ethical offence") before marriage, and both of them could be punished severely - losing jobs, being shunned from society etc. later you will see, ms. xu advises also her that it's okay to date but to be wary of any (improper) actions
itās been a WHILE since we got a drama with this type of storyline. recently every show has been either about bullying, romance, melodramasā¦donāt get me wrong, I loved those too but this feels almost refreshing. production costs is definitely through the roof. and the portrayed Americans can finally act for once! overall, everyoneās doing a brilliant job. almost sat this one out, would have missed out big time!
Wait I'm confused I didn't understand that last scene with the nurse. Can you please explain
I think the nurse who wanted to know if the patient should drink water, she meant it genuinely. but the other nurse was like yeah ā Iāll ask Dr pyo in the morning, letās let her sleep nowā pretending to be nice in front of the that nurse and right when she left, she called pyo, although she knew if wasnāt an urgent situation š„²hopefully they can resolve things amongst themselves.
am I the only one shocked at that nurseās behaviour at the end of ep4 šI felt bad for the nurse when dr pyo was showing attitude to her, tho dr pyo later realised what she was doing was wrong but THE END! š people just canāt work together in peace šš
It's ok. It started well, then got boring at times. The ML's ex should've been involved to cause some chaos. It…
Both types of pairings are fun to watch, but this one just happened to be the cold FL Ć warm ML dynamic, which I personally prefer haha. I think it was perfect without the chaotic ex subplotānot every drama needs constant chaos hehe. I really liked how it was easy-going, with most obstacles getting resolved quickly and nicely. Their chemistry was so good, from the lingering gazes to the way they comforted each other through their struggles. It was such a cosy watch, and I looked forward to it every weekend. Absolutely loved it! But in the end, it all just comes down to personal preference haha.
wow her friend is a real asshole huh? Like it's so bad to be together with a single parent.
I felt that part was quite out of place and character. When you think about her character outside of that scene, it doesnāt seem like something she would naturally say. It came across as a very out-of-character remark that the writer and director seemed to force into her dialogue, just to push and show the narrative that there are still people who think that way, which is rather sad but yeah
(sorry for the long comment ahhhhh)
