Every time I scroll in the comments section to see what people say, I realise more and more that I'm incapable of thinking any negative opinions about K-Dramas. Is that just me? Of course there are things I don't want to happen, some things I think that should've happened and some things I would've improved if I was the screenwriter or director (Once again, is that just me? I like to pretend I'm the director/writer in my head) but I genuinely can't think any BAD about this show or any shows I've watched lol. I love the mystery subplot, I actually like Seonjae, I really couldn't care less about Jeon Doyeon's age (she's an amazing actress, that's all that matters to me), and Idk why people are so hung up about the chemistry between the FL and the ML... I mean, they aren't really "friends" rn so I at least wasn't expecting them to be compatible from the get-go lol. Anyways, I'd like to hear if anyone agrees or disagrees with me because I've only ever met one other person like me who can't really form negative opinions about shows/music/whatever.
I love this show so much, I haven't felt this impatient for episodes since Run On. It's a nice yet annoying feeling lol. I'm not entirely invested in the high schooler's love triangle, I don't think there is a need but oh well what can I do? It'd be so cool if Haeyi didn't date either of them, I haven't seen (or at least can't remember) any other K-Dramas doing that before.
However, I am ENTIRELY invested in the thriller (?) subplot! I love when romcoms do this, but maybe that's only me because I am a sucker for pain lol. I feel like it could be the assistant. I've seen a lot of people say that and at first, I was like what are you guys on about?? But now I'm starting to think it's him... he does seem like an overly-protective type of guy but in a subtle way.
The scenes with Jaewoo just broke my heart ): I understand him because sometimes I can get ''obsessed'' with people and I can never tell if I'm crossing boundaries, making them uncomfortable etc. I just have to guess based on if I notice they are distancing themselves from me and even then, like Jaewoo, I still struggle to tell. Despite my empathy towards Jaewoo in this episode, I can also understand why the woman felt unsafe. This world is a scary place, especially for women, even I get scared to go to my Grandparent's house which is just a 1 minute walk away. Her boyfriend really just made the situation a lot worse than it needed to be, though.
I really like this movie! Why do I kind of feel like the director made this movie to just showcase gore... I'm only joking lol. A sequel to this would be amazing.
What a drama! I came in excited because of other people's opinions and I was not disappointed. The acting was just amazing, another brilliant performance by Jihoon. His eyes speak a thousand words. Hong Kyung impressed me; he really nailed his character. I wish Bum Seok could've sought out psychological help or to even just talk to Sooho and Sieun would've helped him tremendously. All in all, great show!
I'm absolutely loving this drama. I don't know how I can wait another week lol like I need to know!!! Who is that guy on the window and why can't he leave!? I'm so curious about Daebeom's past as well, it seems like it'll be a tragic one. I haven't been excited about a k-drama in so long. 10/10 so far I don't think this drama will disappoint me. Well, maybe 9.9 lol I'm not a fan of heavy drinking scenes but I hope she'll quit for Bom.
