Mark's popularity has nothing to do with his personal life LOL. Its his image that he had because he has numerous of scandals and controversies that kind of tarnished his name to the general public. Despite it, he's still pretty relevant and popular in Thailand because he knows how to pick good scripts that all his lakorns are instant hits. He's popular just not on Nadech's level. Pope is popular because of BPS. Mario is popular too in a sense that he ALWAYS have blockbuster movies and never had any flop ones. James Ji is popular in a sense that he has a laaarge fanbase and drama producers clamor for him (or Nadech) on their lakorns. James and Nadech's queue is always full that producers often wait 3-5 years to star them in a lakorn. Those actors are above Mark in Thailand for those reasons. Internationally, Mark is sealed on top. His lakorns never fails to deliver and has the right taste for international demands.

I really want to answer all your queries over a cup of coffee since everything dates down to Mark and Nadech's debut year (2010). I feel like this comment section isn't enough if you wanna know everything about the two. I watched lakorns even before Mark and Nadech's debut so I've seen their growth over time including how their popularity works in Thai ent industry.

If I'm going through the same phase of exhaustion I would do an unfollow spree too just to take a break. But that's just me. In my prrspective I don't see any wrong with him unfollowing those people 'coz his life, his sns, his rules :D

Pope is kinda tired of the entertainment industry now. He's almost 40. In the interview that he had last month, he said he wanted to take a rest from lakorns because it exhausts him already. He's at the peak of his career since BPS but he doesn't accept much projects because we can clearly see that he's tired. He has 3 projects with Broadcast Thai next year. 1 BPS sequel movie, 1 BPS sequel lakorn, and 1 PYLGNM. I feel like with all those three projects under his belt for 2021, he'll drop at least one project just to take a breather.

Channel 3 might won't allow him to take a leave. Especially at the peak of his career. But Pope, on the other hand, is open about wanting to take a long break.

That's true. Acting like they hate each other is a huge obstacle because people see them all lovey dovey on SNS. It all boils down to their delivery if ever. I am a biggest fan of their off-cam relationship but I can't see that surging chemistry on screen. That's why I badly badly badly want at least one lakorn that could make me think the otherwise. Since slap-kiss is a genre that they never took a step upon so here's me wishing it will work lol.

I actually want at least one slap-kiss lakorn for Mark and Kim before they get married. It's the genre that they both were not able to explore as a couple and I wanna see how they'll carry it through. Thinking about their previous lakorns together most are romcoms the other one is heavy action with no crazy romance. I want one solid plot that can showcase their acting skills and their connection to each other. Sexy slap-kiss lakorn is best for that matter (at least for me lol). If their lakorn reunion doesn't have a nice storyline and good character build-up, I'd rather not have any reunion at all. I'm thirsty for a good storyline between Mark and Kim. All their lakorns are mediocre.

Min being casted by Broadcast Thai last December 6 pretty much confirmed that her first pra ek in TV3 is Pope because he had signed a new drama under Broadcast Thai entitled Phoo Yai Lee Gub Nang Ma. It took them two years to find a nang ek for Pope (and its Min).

EDIT: Since I've watched the original version, Min is the best fit for Ploy's prev character. She can turn a bratty character into a likeable one.

I don't see JJ as a better actor than Mark too :D Mark's strength are his subtle acting while JJ is a heavy crier with endless tears. Though I have to admit, I don't like Mark and JJ in the early days of their career. They were as stiff as board and can't emote decently. Now, both have grown so much as actors. Experience honed them.

Yes. Personally, if I'll be bias, I'll rank him 3rd after Nadech and Pope too. Hahahaha. Just to be even more bias, he's the best Thai actor in my eyes. He knows how to generate chemistry in all of his leading ladies and that is a rare find.

I don't know if its appropriate to say this here but Mark has a different reputation in Thailand than how he was known internationally. He's like the male version of Matt Peranee in terms of the number of scandals. That boy is filled with scandals and it doesn't help with his image and publicity. That's why. Just this year alone he had two.

Anne Thong and P'Da (producer of Sawan Biang) actually picked Kim as the actress that they want to play Narin. However, fans want Yaya more because of the Kluen Cheewit craze. If ever Mark and Yaya will pair again I want them to venture outside slap-kiss lakorn. KC is pretty well-known already that they need roles that will separate them greatly from Sathit and Jeerawat so that people can stop comparing.

I ranked it according to their popularity in Thailand. Internationally, Mark is on tie with Nadech on top spot. No doubts about that. :D

Even with no projects that man's popularity never decreases. After Nadech is Pope. His fans grew large after BPS. Next would be James Ji. If Nadech is the most popular guy in 4HJHH boys, James Ji is the most popular in Suparburoot boys. Next is Mario. Actually, Mario tied with James Ji. Next should be Boy Pakorn. He got the most projects to date among all 4HJHH boys. Even his IG followers speaks a volume of his fans. Next is Mark. Although I feel like Mark's rank could interchange with Boy lol. Then James Ma, Great Warinton, Pon Nawasch. I don't know if I've missed out some more but that's all I can see as popular frol TV3.
