Guys I read the novel and OH MY GOD......
Im absolutely obsessed with it! More romantic scenes, more details... Im honestly so disappointed with the drama's production team for ruining Xie Zhengs character. His fight scenes in the novel were incredibly exciting. Even Changu was such a badass in the novel! But to be fair the drama actually did a somewhat better job of showcasing Fl skills compared to the ml.

And as for the romantic scenes... Xie Zheng is REALLY shameless! 🙈🙈

I’d heard that Xie Zheng has some really exciting fight scenes in the novel but the drama ruined them. I thought people were exaggerating so are you saying the fights are actually more exciting in the novel? What about the romantic scenes? Are they better in the novel too or did the drama show them in full? Because I loved the bath scene so much 🤭🤭

Since Where the Mask ends aired some toxic fans have been coming here. I genuinely respect and like TW but youre only hurting her popularity with this behavior. Other peoples tastes are none of your business. Ive watched many cdramas and despite their popularity I struggled to finish quite a few of them. But POJ became one of the few dramas I truly loved. That is just my personal taste though. Everyone has different favorites and that is perfectly fine. You can criticize a drama without hating on it or insulting people for having different tastes. Criticism is fine but disrespecting others preferences is not.

Could you please recommend some Cdramas for me? I didn’t enjoy The Early Spring, Road to Splendor, Against the Current or Key to Phoenix Heart as much as I’d hoped so I ended up switching to Kdramas after struggling to find a Cdrama that really clicked with me. If you know any good ones please tell me 🥹

Is it true that ZLH was originally cast as Song Ling but got dropped without even being informed? I heard his voice at the drama's launch event saying this and apparently his studio edited that part out of the video. 👀

I genuinely loved watching this drama and completely fell in love with it. I’m sure I’ll rewatch it again 🥹❤️

I’ve seen some comments here, so just a reminder: guys I’ve never watched a completely flawless drama. Even the most popular Cdramas won’t appeal to everyone. It’s all about personal taste.
