I wish I could rate this show an 11/10. I love melodrama, but I've seen nothing like this drama before. The acting put forward by both the leads, the storyline, the angst and every little detail makes this drama beautiful like no other.
This is a kind of drama that makes you leave everything and really question some important things about life. The significance of EP 24 & 25 is that, it shows how the trauma and abandonment issues from her mother really impacted Yifan so much so that she developed avoidant attachment. The way she refuses to acknowledge the love shown to her by her best friend and Sang Yan is the foremost damage that most SA survivors go through. It might seem illogical and weird to us thinking that she left without saying anything to Sang Yan, but sometimes that's all they can do. All the progress she had made in the 6 years was swept away as soon as Yifan's abuser came back. His words ringing in her ears told her to leave once again as she believed the only way to break this cycle was by hiding again. SA survivors are often psychologically altered, they refuse to believe they can find help and resort to dissociation by means of a change of environment. That's all these two episodes were about. If you think Sang Yan deserves better and he should leave, you should understand that his love for Yifan has always been unconditional. While most people would just blame Yifan for being fragile and isolated, he understands her. He tries to reason with her behaviour and makes an effort to understand the causes which led to this effect. I think that's beautiful. That is what makes them special.
I justwatch a scene she talking to the sml in her house and she said she don't like to live with males in same…
Girl u need a job ur unemployment is showing thru the long ahh paragraph. If smth doesn’t interest you, there’s no reason for u to watch it or talk shit about it. Just leave
I think she become braver and have that strength to talk with that abuser because he harmed Sang Yan and Wen Yifan…
Absolutely. That what makes this even better. She finally has the courage to do what she couldn’t do back then, and sang yan is kind of credited for strengthening her with love and compassion
Yifan, you're one of the strongest women I've ever seen. Handling your abuser like that and standing up for yourself and Sang Yan like that was not easy. Pop off queen!
This drama is just making me go feral. I GOT EXAMS BUT I CANT STOP GIGGLING EAR TO EAR WITH HOW INSANE BOTH OF THEIR CHEMISTRY IS AND THE SUBTLETY OF THEIR ACTIONS FOR EACH OTHER. ESP WITH THE MESSY AIRING SCHEDULE GOD 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 YOUKU WHEN I CATCH U YOUKU
I hear you I am getting rather impatient too after the 4th episode with the flashbacks and overanalyzing of every…
I hoped there would be some sort of reconciliation between the leads but even in ep 6 the ml is just finding clues and going over to her friends to interview them like that is just downright creepy because she didn't even ask him for help. It could've been paced in a better way with a better ending but it's just messy. They wanna portray dong jin as someone who is in love with her and wants to help her but atp he's just being very stalker-like, with buying a flat next to mijeong and tracking down her friends,
ive watched over 200 dramas but none have made me laugh my ass off this bad I laughed for a solid 30 mins of the episode CANT WAIT FOR THE NEXT ONE AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH I LOVE IT
girl I was really rooting for this show but its so fvcking draggy like its already 5 episodes in and the leads haven't even met eo yet. dropping it today lol
I have tried to like this one, I really have. But I can't. Like someone already said, its plot is a bit incomprehensible,…
yea its prolly bcs u watch it when you're tired bcs this show is very intense and requires a lot of concentration. I didn't understand the hype after watching ep 1 but with a little more concentration, the 2nd ep got me hooked!!! PHS is definitely eating this role up
