And there i was, wondering why unclouded soul is dropping 3 eps per day, turns out there's this drama airing too! Gonna be multitasking hou minghao's dramas! ππ
Me too when I finish it in 2days I told to myself from now on π€ never believe the rate or the comments in mydramalist
on some points, a good/best drama really varies depending on what is best for a person. there are just those dramas that don't become a hit so much to the general public but become the best to the people that could relate to the most. so reviews are still helpful because it aids you to weigh what are the pros and cons π€
by far among the asian dramas i've watched, this drama made me cry the most. this drama is beautiful. im not sure…
they're gonna break up for sometime because of the situation getting more complicated between the armies but they don't stop loving each other. they'll get back together eventually. hang in there! the ending is happy!
Thoughts so far (just finished ep 18):I love how their relationship was slowly built and torn and then rebuilt…
by far among the asian dramas i've watched, this drama made me cry the most. this drama is beautiful. im not sure if you'll have the same experience with me but watchout starting at the middle part of episode 30, your heart will start to break.
It was a happy ending, in a somewhat unsatifactory way, which seems very common in cdramas- except for TSoKP which…
i agree on the ending! i somehow wanted to see more of what happened after they reunited. TSoKP did feed the audience well in their ending, making a bonus episode of what we all wanted to see.
I was hesitant to watch this drama at first because I've read so many comments about how they're upset with the drama and all but I surprisingly finished watching it in 2 days. (fast pace for me already) I enjoyed the humor a lot and I was kinda surprised how detailed they got about business discussions, so I understand why people called it dragging. But having worked for a coporate before it didn't really bug me to have so many discussion scenes, i learned something from it even. I guess the plot might just not be for what most people generally like.
I did not expect Dylan Wang to be able to pull-off a serious character though but he portrayed the CEO role really well. It's because I always see him as the explosive type of character (talkative, bubbly or always angry). This character of him is so refreshing to watch!
Ultimately, i watched this because of Dylan Wang and after i got amazed by Bai Lu from watching Story of Kunning Palace. They were a great pair!
I wanted for Feng Yin and Yuan Qi's reunion to be a bit longer though!~~ Nonetheless, they still gave us a beautiful ending! I especially love the emphasis on the idea that the decisions that we make are what ultimately shapes our lives. No good thing comes without a sacrifice. They did it countless of times! We shouldn't be bound by some limits because of so-called fate or pre-destiny and that there will always be a way to make breakthroughs if we just have the will to make it.
I also love the journey of Hong Yi and Yan Shuang's love. They have been through a lot and Yan Shuang has endured so much for Hong Yi. At least it was all worth it. Hong Yi loves her so much when he came upfront with his feelings. It was really satisfying for me to witness the journey how they came together.
And, the friendship that the four of them built. It is so wholesome and so realistic. Literally there for each other through thick and thin. With all the bickering/fight and all sort of support they give each other.
Lastly, I appreciate the part where they recognize that there are devils who urge people their darkest emotions to surface and blind us in our actions but that we shouldn't condemn them if they only reflect on their mistakes and be willing to take accountability. To give people the chance to change for the better and not make them suffer even more.
For me the overall story-telling was direct and very relatable in real life!
