I mean totally different genres lol, THK was a romcom, and this one is a crime mystery.
I do not think everything was a mess, but execution especially with the main conflict and resolution could have gone a lot better. Nonetheless, I enjoyed the watch, it was a fun romcom overall.
I want to respond respectfully, as a fellow queer person. Our community is incredibly diverse, and that’s something to celebrate! We have gays who are more on the feminine side, who like to wear flashy big, and gorgeous outfits and that's okay. If you're more on the masc side and prefer to see shows representing that side of you, that's absolutely okay! I totally understand and respect you. What is NOT okay is saying feminine gays in media are a joke or ladyboys who pretend to be straight. They are gay MEN! Dressing differently or feminine mannerisms are valid. Criticizing such mannerisms or styles often stems from internalized hate for such mannerisms, and framing that as "just an opinion" can be very damaging. Let's support and uplift the full spectrum of our community. If it's not your style, you are loved as part of the community still, and there are other pieces of media you might enjoy more! Have a lovely day.
I see them getting along very well though. What led to this speculation?
Hello! They meant JD, but they are getting along well right now. They were sulking around the end of last year, but they are doing great right now and even joke about that. As usual, when actors sulk or something, it becomes a huge deal for people online. They have talked about how they did not like the script GMMTV offered them initially, so Joong told Dunk it might be okay not to have a series this year, but DYTD's plot came along and they got interested! So they decided together to go forward this year with DYTD.
