Both the couples are poles apart. Licheng and Teng have become one of my favorite couple. They showcased every…

I'm really not a fan of BL (I mean I don't hate them) but I really don't know why there are lots of people who…
for me, i mostly watch bl dramas because that's one of the most readily available form of lgbtq representation in asian media. as an asian myself, i personally find it comforting to see decent portrayal of lgbtq relationships; you just have to find the good ones worth watching because admittedly, not all bl dramas are done well in terms of representation.

cherry magic is one of my favorites so i'd recommend watching it! more recommendations that come to mind is manner of death, we best love, lovely writer (this one in particular is very good in representation), life~ love on the line, history 3: trapped, until we meet again and i told sunset about you! i hope this isn't too overwhelming T__T

I'm only watching this for Licheng and Muren. So I skip the parts of second couple, especially in ep 6.
i feel the exact same. the second couple literally irks me (i really don't like yong jie's character, but i do like xing si) but i still at least skim through their scenes for context; as for the first couple i oddly like them despite this whole show having many tropes i dislike, it almost feels like a gulity pleasure show lol.

admittedly history4: close to you isn't the best taiwanese bl out there, but i must say that history2 and history3…
ahh modc... no spoilers but i'd say i 100% agree with people warning you about the ending being controversial, but my favorite installments of history2 and history3 respectively are history2: crossing the line and history3: trapped!
crossing the line is more of a fluffy light-hearted romance between the main leads (there's a stepbrother ship as the side ship, but not as toxic as this one and easily skippable if you don't like the stepbrother trope)
as for trapped, this is one of those shows where its plot doesn't surround it being a bl/romance, so yes the plot is more complex but nonetheless both the main and side ship have so much chemistry and is worth watching for sure. trapped was phenomenal tbh, that was definitely the peak of history series as a whole.

Damn, this looks like a mess and a half, and not in a good way. People keep saying that Taiwanese BLs are on another…
admittedly history4: close to you isn't the best taiwanese bl out there, but i must say that history2 and history3 were done extremely well; those are definitely worth your watch. another good one is we best love, which now has an ongoing season 2 :))
i do agree that close to you is really... quite a mess right now but to me it 's become one of those guilty pleasure shows i'm continuing even though i dislike majority of the tropes, it feels like a weird relationship lol
