Wow, I did not know that some of these were remakes of Korean films! Especially Rock On, which was one of my favorite films, growing up, back in India.
Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara is also another great film, I would highly recommend, starring the same lead actor as Rock On, with tones of slice of life, friendship and romance .
While Bollywood might dole out many "Masala" films, there are also underrated (to the rest of the world atleast) gems, with a lot more gravitas, and wit such as udaan, the lunch box, and khosla ka ghosla. Many of these Indian films have heart rending OSTs that are sure to end up on your playlist.
And another fact about Indian TV dramas - some of them go on until years (not kidding !) with more than a few thousand episodes :)
She doesn't have a bad mother in law, but for someone who supposedly raised her and was a friend of her mother's,…
I know right ! It's making me nervous thinking how they are going to cover all that in the remaining 6 episodes. This drama is going by so fast and I dont want it to end badly >_<
Episode 8 was such a game changer and so good. I cant even begin to describe! Considering they are just half way through, bringing the killer to court so soon obviously didnt make sense, so I was wondering what twist they are going to bring in to keep the plot going. Cant wait to see if Dong Jun follows suit! But new respect in my eyes for Park Se Young's nuanced performance. Hats off to her for being able to express the transition between so many varied emotions from betrayal to fear to masked poker face
Loved this drama! It was like a refreshing cold cucumber soup on a hot summer day. The carefree, slice of life, breezy feel of the drama is perfect for a lazy weekend. But that dance at the end though. I bet it was a riot for the cast to film that :)
Your opinion was refreshing :D I guess I have been more forgiving of Goblin and IOTL mainly because of the amazing OST, despite an interesting but flawed plotline. But I agree with you 100% on Pinocchio, Oh my Venus (even So Ji Sub couldnt save this one for me) and BOTC. Although I eventually completed watching all three, I had to force myself. Never watched Shut Up: Flower Boy Band (not into idols all that much). Dropped or never felt like watching these highly popular dramas myself: W, DOTS, Heirs, many more.
and the ending officially ruined the drama (: (: ahhh what a beautiful sight to see (: so hee's brother casually…
Lol +1 that certainly left a bad taste in my mouth! I dont think I can make sense of that ending unless they tell me they edited out the part where tae ho kills everybody except bong hee who goes cray cray and ends up imagining those last few bizarre scenes
This is such a heart warming series. Definitely a keeper! Binge watched Midnight Diner movie and Shinya Shokudo season 3 after watching this. Can't get enough XD. Does anyone know where to watch Midnight Diner 2 (2016) movie?
After watching episode 12, I went back to watch episode 1. In the first seconds (or first minute) it shows only…
Wow, I had completely missed/forgotten that that's how the drama started. Went back and watched it again! Will be interesting to see how they tie it back to this.
While I am immensely relieved that the boys made it out (i had an anxiety attack watching their escape!), I am worried that Ha Yeon-ie might not be with Seon Kyu anymore by the time Jeong Woo reaches their hideout :( I hope I am proved wrong!
