you are definitely not alone in finding it weird🤣I think this is one those scenerious where reading the novel is the key to understanding what the heck is going on. they did a pretty poor job at explaining some stuff. the viewer and the reader are often not the same person so your job as a screen writer is to make stuff on screen comprehensible to everyone.

exactly. when the story stops being engaging it's better to just drop it instead of wasting precious time just for the sake of it.

the cultivation scene was weird. one moment sima Jiao had the clothes on and the next he was naked. I asked myself "are you banging with his unconscious body?". he was so confusing 😅

I don't know if the translation is wrong or if I missed something but if Arthur cheng characters was "switched" with another dude, how come he still uses his old name , writes letters to his "family" and the guy who took his place has a different name? (currently on episode 9)

sure, but if you never had them you never "yearn" for them right? in these first episodes she also seems quite uninterested towards the humans so why obsessed over something so trivial like like the human experience? maybe to better understand the soul grudges and wishes she witnesses when they die? I don't know. I am only on episode 8 so I hope I'll get some good answers later on.

currently on episode 8. the drama is visually stunning and somewhat interesting but I cannot go over the fact that si tu motivations look so silly to me. experience the five human senses? really? that's it? then why are you able to hear?😭😭😭
it also feel "aseptic", beautiful but soulless.

I guess he went back to when he originally transmigred which was 15 years earlier than the FL. he basically waited for her I guess.
the last scene left confused as well because I think it looked more like a "what if". it is never clear what the end goal of the novel was, so which mission did they have to complete in order to come back? reinstate an emperor? the drought?
I guess the answer are all in the novel

ero tentata dall' iniziare questo drama, ma la tua recensione mi ha convinta a mollarlo. sono sinceramente stanca di tutte queste recensioni stellari che certi drama ricevono per poi ritrovarmi a sprecare 40 episodi per un una serie che ha 3 episodi decenti. sta diventando impossibile scegliere un qualsiasi show basandosi sulle recensioni altrui. apprezzo la serietà e sincerità della tua recensione.

this drama is so cringe, it makes no sense at all and frankly the characters are boring as hell.

completely agree on the empathy towards the "monsters". I found myself rooting for them. they were fighting for survival in a world that hated them without realizing they have to choice on how to be born.😅

I recently finished "love in the clouds" and nothing compares when it comes to chemistry.
I was compelled by the premise of two worlds colliding, the simulation and the real world....what a bummer
