i asked the same question but on episode 2😅 I kept watching and it improved a lot, but if you are not feeling it in episode 25 maybe it's just not your cup of tea.
I'd say keep watching, but if you don't feel like investing 15 more episodes that's totally understandable.

i literally just started the series. am in minute 13 of the second episode and I already dislike the FL. how dumm can she be? she knows this is just a human who didn't turn evil yet and she is doing everything to make him hate her. are you insane? your mission is to avoid him turning evil!
please tell me it gets better because so far, I am already disliking the FL.

i am currently on episode 5. it looked fine at the very beginning but after so many "sweet" interactions I am starting to feel annoyed. constantly talking about their past. they clearly have some feelings for each other and denying them is starting to feel annoying.
especially the main guy but also the main girl. C'mon he doesn't behave like a "normal" best friend.

I love fantasy and I'm not expecting "realism", but when the prior rules established by the story itself get benden for plot convenience then I lose interest. I expect "internal logic", not logic on itself.

you are definitely not alone in finding it weird🤣I think this is one those scenerious where reading the novel is the key to understanding what the heck is going on. they did a pretty poor job at explaining some stuff. the viewer and the reader are often not the same person so your job as a screen writer is to make stuff on screen comprehensible to everyone.

exactly. when the story stops being engaging it's better to just drop it instead of wasting precious time just for the sake of it.

the cultivation scene was weird. one moment sima Jiao had the clothes on and the next he was naked. I asked myself "are you banging with his unconscious body?". he was so confusing 😅

I don't know if the translation is wrong or if I missed something but if Arthur cheng characters was "switched" with another dude, how come he still uses his old name , writes letters to his "family" and the guy who took his place has a different name? (currently on episode 9)

sure, but if you never had them you never "yearn" for them right? in these first episodes she also seems quite uninterested towards the humans so why obsessed over something so trivial like like the human experience? maybe to better understand the soul grudges and wishes she witnesses when they die? I don't know. I am only on episode 8 so I hope I'll get some good answers later on.
