hi i'm lubaina. in 2009 i watched coffee prince and it was downhill from there. you can find me on twitter! i make fun of my favs a lot and am not the nicest when it comes to criticizing shows.

how i rate stuff: 

• narrative and execution - was the story compelling and was it executed well? did it deliver on its themes and wrap up character arcs nicely? was it paced well and hold my interest? was it original in concept, and if not, did it manage to make itself different from other similar concepts?
• characters - were they interesting? were they made to fit tropes rather than act as their own selves? did they have meaningful motivations that work for the story and for themselves? how were their relationships with other characters?
• personal enjoyment - even if it didn't fulfill any of the above, did i still have fun watching it

dramas that delivers on all of the above get a perfect ranking (rare!). 9-9.5 means it checked off most boxes but had 1 or 2 glaring flaws. 7-8.5 means it started off strong and fell off because of missed potential, pacing issues, incomplete resolutions, etc. i drop very easily so if a show starts off as a 7 or less, i will usually not get far enough to rate it at all. anything under 7 is probably garbage.
