For me I'm in the US so I can't watch it live since it's too early in the morning for me but I have an IP JPTV subscription so I watched it a couple hours after it aired. and then earlier today (Friday lunchtime for me) I used v/p/n to watch it on Netflix. Note using that might get your Netflix account to get an error so be careful using a v/p/n if you really can't wait.

It already aired on TV on Friday night in Japan so it will be on Netflix the day after (Saturday) depending on your timezone.

A new episode airs Friday each week in Japan at 10pm, episode 4 this coming week. The new episode is on Netflix, when it is Saturday in your region.

Also I think I have decent raws for second season 2. I'll message you when I do check but I think one episode is about 700 mbs.

I haven't watched the first season just the movie and second season. I mainly watched it for Domoto Koichi since I'm a KinKi Kids fan and I loved their dramas from the 90s! Definitely agree that the two theme songs by Nakajima Miyuki for the series are classics! There's still many 90s dramas I need to watch but yeah so many are just so good but don't have subs sadly :(

Unfortunately for this tv time slot, the dramas are 8 episodes. Hopefully there will be a SP or second season in the future!! Miss Sui and Mayu already. I just love how Mayu is a relatable heroine for me. 🙈

sorry I couldn't help but read your guys replies as I'm a big KinKi fan. But yeah KinKi is the first Kansai Johnnys group hehe and Kinki = Kansai region. Their old name used to be KANZAI BOYA haha. Tsuyoshi's eyebrows posts are meant for fans to have a laugh during lunch during these tough times. As for Koichi's dramas, my favorite is Remote with Fukada Kyoko (it's cool she worked with both Tsuyoshi and Koichi in dramas and was a SDK cast member). He also won best supporting actor and wrote/composted the drama's theme song under the name K.Dino.
For some of their individual dramas, they also made cameos in the others's drama like in 1999. their characters appeared in each other's drama (To heart and P.S. Genki Desu, Shunpei).

I agree the pacing became off around ep 5-6. Didn't like Nami running away from Jun and hearing him out... well I guess cuz she's 23 and not much experience with love.

I personally preferred the Horai siblings scenes over Jun/Nami. Love Nanao and Tamamori. TBS likes them too. Nanao will be in another TBS drama (TOKYO MER) next season.

Personally, I'm liking the drama. Watched ep 3 raw, I think this was a better episode. the plot is getting more interesting and Karibe is warming up to Aiko. No hearts broken with Ren's sensei. :) I'm soft for the ending scene with Karibe looking at Aiko and Ren who are asleep. Watched the special navi guide that aired over the weekend, The dog Koji is so cute. The share house also looks so nice, would love to live there lol. Can't wait for first episode tonight!
