guess i was right to skip this. i expect nothing more from gmm. they would almost NEVER have the girl choose a girl over a guy.
it's not about having happy gl endings all the time. it's about this being gmm's track record for doing this outside a GL series. if they mixed it up a bit, it would be fine. but the consistency is pretty concerning.
just bc they're cranking out gls now, it doesn't mean they're for us.
It’s not even an opinion to agree or disagree with. They’re just making things up to drag the drama down, which is obvious when they compare it to bfriend.
I’m 99% sure the account you replied to is one of their alts they use to superficially drag or hype up dramas.
GL dramas on MDL are flooded with fake comments. It's at a point where there's one genuine comment for every 20 fake ones. 🙄
Just a quick check shows the top two reviews are from throwaway accounts made the same day they posted. They couldn't even be bothered to think of a username for the other account.
Many people just getting into Thai GLs and may not be aware.
So because times are different now, it's only been 2 years lol. Marie Broenner got caught driving drunk, got 2 months prison, 1 year probation but didn't hit anyone.
Tina, 2 years ago, drove under the influence and hit someone so bad that they required brain surgery. She also got caught partying like nothing happened after the fact and posting photos/clips on social media until she got called out and quickly deleted them.
Her punishment? If you're rich, just pay off the victim's family. No jail time. No probation. Keep a low profile until things blow over.
I'm only referencing Marie, because her case is recent. Like few days ago, recent. She wouldn't submit to doing a breathalyzer test. If you don't, you're automatically found guilty of drinking and driving.
While Tina was never tested for anything. It's not just Tina. It's anyone who's rich and famous. Peck Palitchoke is also a recent one who wouldn't submit to drug testing, but at least the guy wasn't driving. Anyone else would be tested. No questions asked.
Yes. People make mistakes, but she went partying having a good time afterwards like nothing happened and only looked remorseful after getting called out when video proof of her wreckless driving surfaced and by the victim's mom.
Just because she was in Thailand's first GL movie, it doesn't mean we should support someone like her.
Aom is also another kind of disappointing.
After these two showed their true colors, I only appreciate celebrities for their body of work. I'm not going to idolize them just because they starred in something I really liked or whatever personae they're showing to the public, because you never know what kind of lowlife they could be irl.
Dropping this at ep8, because the ML is so annoying. He can't do sht to actually help anyone, mopes and cries about it but gets in FL's way. It's baffling how her character is even attracted to him. Everything else about this is pretty good and I thought about finishing it for that but when he stopped her at the carnival, I'm just like nope. I've had enough of this fool.

Can you be a little less obvious....? 🙄
