I read a lot of people say they like the king...Yeonsangun @_@ Did they totally change him for the drama? I wanna…
The story has been fictionalized but it was done so beautifully. The development of each character is sooo good. The first few episodes show the good and bad side of YeongSangun. Just don't think too much of history.... think of this drama as a fresh writing and you will enjoy each episode cause it gives a good balance of pain, humor and sweetness. All 3 leads were amazing and even the romantic scenes were done so naturally and beautifully you will feel their emotions. I don't like Sageuk and melo but this one made me enjoy every episode. I also love the transition from the youngsters to the adults and all the supporting casts shine in their own ways. Give it a try... just drop it if it becomes unbearable hehe

Why don't we get a preview this week?
Just my thoughts.... because of the bad weather in Korea late last week to early this week, they only get to finish the filming of episodes 11-12 right in time for airing and probably filmed episodes 13-14 last Wednesday only thus no time for editing to show us the preview.... again just me saying

Is it too much to ask for more romantic scenes for Chae Kyung and Yeok. I am so in love with the chemistry of Park Min Young and Yeon Woo Jin...... sweet... simply.... sweet

I for one would love a happy ending, the disclaimer says that this drama is a fiction inspired by history so it is not a crime to hope for a happy ending. Anyway this is not a biography and historically speaking that love triangle did not exists LOL so yes give us a happy ending.... would love that...... even if they meet in another life time, I just don't want it to be in modern times maybe after 200 years hahaha that would still be satisfying for me than a tragic one.

Why do I have a feeling that most of the Snail Wives will pass away during the coup d'etat? I love Seo Noh,…
I think some will live and just my gut feel Seo Noh will still play an important role at the end.

I need to prepare my heart for the tragic ending it may have. I find Chae's parents lovely and the beginning…
hahaha Thank you for this lesson in history..... but Queen Dangyeong was really deposed 7 days after her husband ascended to the throne in 1506. We do not really know if the story will be patterned after the life of Lady Jane Grey which became the de facto Queen of England in 1553 and was accused of treason 9 days after. England must have heard about the story of Lady Shin LOL so Lady Jane is the Korean version of Lady Shin it's just that Lady Shin was not killed but lived in exile from 1506 till her death in 1557

I gathered from one IG post that production team is asking for strength to be able to complete filming of the remaining 10 episodes. It's raining hard and they are having a hard time filming. I have so much respect for all the people behind this amazing drama. It's not easy to film this. I hope many more will come to appreciate this fine piece of work to compensate all their hard work.

Hmmmm she was deposed yes, but sometimes living a peaceful life is better than being entangled day by day with court politics. She might have a better ending than the prince

Question: Why do you guys think Queen for Seven Days is not performing well in Korea. To me, ratings don't…
I think a Korean explained it perfectly well in one of the episode recaps in dramabeans. They cannot take how the drama seems to present a different side of King YeongSangun who to them is a cruel King, oppressor, rapist, name all the evil adjectives you can think of. The first half of 7DQ presented the human side of the king... yes human because he was always described as a cruel beast... inhuman... that is something they cannot take. But if you will watch this drama with an open mind and heart... there is nothing in here that seems to downplay the evil in him it's just that the drama fictionalized the love triangle between him and his brother which in history didn't actually happened. I think the writer just wanted to present it in such a way that there is a reason for every bad behavior which I kinda like because there are so many lessons we can learn from here. it is such a waste if this great drama will only be there purely for entertainment and not use this as a platform to deliver a very valuable lesson in life.
