It's downhill from ep 19 with some fun scenes here n there. Loved the first half tho. However Will complete for…
You are not alone — a few of us are still watching just for Lusi! I paused after episode 20 and decided to wait until all the episodes are out before binge-watching. :)
She played with fire and got burnt. Besides Haoming has no use of her anymore even as a business partner, so he…
That is exactly my issue with Haoming’s character. When Feng Lei no longer serves a purpose in his life, he conveniently discards her. But now that he realizes Xu Yan still has something to offer, he is pulling every trick in the book to win her back. Love? I do not see it as love on his part. Xu Yan would be far better off focusing on building her business and finding someone who truly values her—not what she brings to the table.
Yeah and you gave lusi’s other drama with 1 star… so dedicated to come here and mess with comments section
I agree. I like ZLS, but that does not mean I enjoy all her dramas. My main issue with this drama is the male lead’s character portrayal. At no point did he show any genuine affection for the female lead, and then suddenly acts as if he cannot live without her. Is it because she is useful to him in his business, or simply because she is beautiful and he likes having her around? His behavior comes across as a classic “dog in the manger” attitude — not valuing her himself but unwilling to let anyone else have her.
To add to this, William Chan’s acting feels somewhat stiff. In the scene with his father where they have an open conversation, he appeared unsure — his hands awkward, and his expression quite blank.
Overall, while the drama has its moments, it really shows that a story’s impact depends on more than just one actor — the script, the supporting cast, and the overall execution all play an important role. Lastly, differing opinions should be respected rather than dismissed or labelled as trolling.
I am teetering on the edge of boredom with the recent episodes—only sticking around for ZLS. As for WC (ML), honestly, the child actor puts in a better performance than he does.
