I will never forgive what this drama did to Baku & Gotak's well written homoerotic relationship and deep childhood connection from webtoon, literally erasing them just like that just to give us half-assed friendship 😭 but even without comparing the webtoon, i still dont think this drama is good like the pacing is weird and story is as shallow as a pond

the new trailer is quite crazy omfg it looks really good and textured, there's no blinding filter or skin smoothing either. very different from what i thought it'd be and as someone who loves stuffs with heavy themes i hope this can satisfy me. the leads acting matured a lot compared to their past dramas im so excited to see their progress

i dont think tencent aims to make this be a big hit or something like that from the start, so if eat run love ends up outshining it then that's probably the most obvious outcome. I watched the trailers for both dramas & personally prefer this one bc it gives off cinematic feels
