I watched them on youtube. Just search by playlist and there should be a few options with english subtitles. The subs aren't the best, but they're doable.

Anyone know if this even directly ties in to the Candle in the Tomb novels? Sounds unrelated.

Here's my 'preferred' watch order, though you may want to start 3, 2, 1 (chronologically).

Candle in the Tomb 2: The Weasel Grave (prequel, 1960s)
Candle in the Tomb 3: Wrath of Time (decades prior prequel)
Candle in the Tomb 4: The Lost Caverns (direct sequel to first)
Candle in the Tomb 5: The Worm Valley (airing now)
Candle in the Tomb 6: Kunlun Shrine (not yet filmed)
Candle in the Tomb 7: Raiders of the Wu Gorge (not yet filmed)
Candle in the Tomb 8: South Sea Wasteland (not yet filmed)
Ghost Blows out the Light: Finding Hu ba Yi (forequel- focuses on the MC's descendent)
Ghost Blows out the Light: Discovery of Golden City (direct sequel to GBotL)

I don't know how all the movies tie in, most seem to be their own versions of the same stories. Some might be their own tales though, not sure. Someone else might need to chime in. But anyway, this is how I'm going about my viewing. I'm only on The Weasel Grave right now.
