Thank you for voicing your opinion. I thought I was losing my mind when reading all the glowing reviews praising like this is one of the best dramas ever, when I struggled to push through every episode. I can see the writing tries to create many redeeming qualities for the FL, like how she speaks up when the ML treats her like crap, or how she advocates for peace instead of war as a way to mend conflicts, but all those messages just get lost because of her baby demeanor, as there's no way we can take her seriously.

In the manhwa the grandpa is more humane I think, as he gave her fake poison and let her flee. In this movie he is purely a villain, with no redemption arc at all.

Wtf's with that ending? How could she survive the poison and the death punishment for disguising as a man? I'm a sucker for happy ending, but the movie would have been so much better if it ends at the moment she dies because of the poison, and shows the dream sequence of her being happy had her father not decide to kill her when she was born. From the beginning the audience had expected a death for her, and it's a wonder she was able to survive that long and become a king, so I think her death at the end would be a logical, and expected conclusion.

I think she was referring to Park Eun Bin, as she's always had feelings for her prior to and during the time she was queen.
