I know! I never knew him before. This drama introduced me to Zhang Wan Yi and Tan Jian Ci! These hidden gems. Their stellar performance left me in awe. Really hope this will be a gateway for them to get more lead roles to showcase their amazing acting skills.
No idea. There are all these rumors about China changing their rules about airing a second season to a drama. There are rumors that it will be in 3months, 6 months, or even a year. I guess we wont know until they release news about it
I agreed I feel like he’s the most pitiful of all characters. No one showed him any real love but XiaoYao.
But i feel like XL is the most pitiful. At least Jing will end up with XY. And with CX< even though he doesnt end up with XY, at least he has the Yellow Emperor, the Grand Emperor and A Nian that love him. XL has no one. The scene in ep 34 when he was walking all alone was so sad. I cried. Its his destiny to walk on his path alone with no family or friends.
Im looking forward to the grandpa/granddaughter relationship XY will have next season that can be seen starting from the last episode. In the novel, it was really nice. They accompanied and lived by each other spending everyday together. I like the Yellow Emperor after he abdicates the throne. He's so chill. Hope they keep this in the drama

Omg yes yes. All those parts are going to be so good. All the CX and XY scenes are going to break my heart, I really want to see the part when XY and AN leave Chenrong after finding out CX is going to marry Xin Yue. CX knowing that XY won't come back but forcing her to. And then him coming to Haoling to pick up XY even though he's not suppose to go to Haoling cause he's emperor now. Those scenes are going to part my heart!

Because he knows that XY's only requirement is to marry someone that will only marry her. And he has already married others. So he cant fulfill this wish of hers anymore.
Man i havent been so heavy hearted from a drama in a while. The last 2 dramas probably would be Till The End of the Moon and Love Like the Galaxy. Man... all such masterpieces. Hopefully I won't experience a drama drought. Season 2 come soon please!
