ML is ice cold in the beginning and convinces himself that he can't love and pushes FL away all the time, and sometimes using FL in his schemes to rescue the company even though she gets hurt a lot in the meantime. FL is kind of obsessed with ML which gets better over the series, but she still is making totally illogical decisions especially around ep37-40. There is a female friend of the ML that is also his subordinate and is obsessed with him to the point were she repeatedly tries to ruin FL in order to get her away from ML (she later changes and gets together with another guy but only after she nearly r*p*d a drunken ML, she at least planed to but FL stopped that plan).
The SML is first just a corporate spy but turns into an revenge driven psycho that only knows how to inflict pain onto everyone including himself. He later finds out that he was lied to and his revenge was hitting the wrong persons and he tries to make it right, but in my opinion he had a screw loose for sure. SFL is "in love" with SML to the point that she doesn't care that much for all the unethical and illegal shit that he does to FL, ML and MLs company. She nearly let go of her love when shit really went down but as soon as SML tried to make it right she becomes his fangirl again even though she will never be more than a platonic friend in his mind.

His Father was the real monster for sure, i just meant to say that he wasn't just a victim of his circumstances. He certainly didn't deserve this kind of father and he was broken for sure, but he had his own wicked streak nevertheless

I'd like to recommend Love Scenery (2021) to you if you liked YAMG. It's a tad worse than YAMG in terms of actor chemistry and relationship, but it reminded me of YAMG a lot and I really liked it too.
