Romcom done just right. A great story, a perfect cast, some very tender scenes(especially the one in the karaoke room ). I would love to rewatch this again.
It was an easy fun watch for the the first 13 episodes , the story could have been wrapped in 13 -14 episodes. I liked the way they handled the topic of homosexuality with sensitivity. For me the camaraderie between the characters is more memorable than the romance between the lead couples.
I am glad I watched this show and discovered Lee Seung Gi . I loved the chemistry between the 2 leads until the focus was on their relationship, then past episode 9 or 10 , the story veered towards politics and the crazy club M and I lost interest.
I prefer a hint of romance in my dramas, even the detective ones, and I knew there's no romance in Stranger before I went in so I wasn't sure if it will hold my attention till the end. But boy was I wrong , I loved the show. The interplay between the ( main and the supporting ) characters was so engaging that I did not really cared about the mystery so much by the end of the show. Each and every character was given their due. Intelligent writing, a tight script, top notch acting makes it a compelling watch.
Watching it in 2020 for the first time after watching Hyun Bin in CLOY. Of course it's full of standard tropes/cliches , the plot dragged a little at the middle but I still liked it a lot . It made me smile, especially Hyun Bin's character was hilarious. Music was great too .
Heavy on melodrama but still loved it for for Ji Sung. Wished the FL would have been less of a pushover though. Some scenes had M&B feels of 1980/90, made me cringe .But seems like I am sucker for such romance . A guilty pleasure.
The drama tried to highlight the gray, murky world of medical profession. There's no wrong or right. Euthanasia or hiding a disease like CIPA when you are a doctor and a one of the best in your field. What choice do you make. For me the romance felt out of place here but it was worth the watch with Ji Sung on the screen. He nailed it.
My first KDrama that I binged watched and completed in 2 days . Loved the drama for Ji Sung. Played all the 7 alters with distinct characteristics exceptionally well. Especially the female alter. The FL was a tad loud at the beginning but calmed down after couple of episode.
I liked the way they handled the topic of homosexuality with sensitivity.
For me the camaraderie between the characters is more memorable than the romance between the lead couples.
