Im not a fan of this genre. Having said that I loved this series and episode 30 had me begging for more as far as the series . I have started reading the book sand so far the drama matches up to the book . . Im a souls game fan and so this journey of Han Li from zero to hero is enthralling . its has no prophesied savior ....just and ordinary Joe leveling up with persistent cultivation and somewhat contrived green vial to help him along this journey. Loved the heart wrenching relationships he makes along the way with mortals realizing that they will one day die before him . Unwilling to make those relationships , Han Li still cannot help making bonds with those people who end up loving him . Great story and despite whatever criticisms I may have ....the main question Maximus asked ....are you entertained,? yes I was entertained .....I loved the fact the drama was close to the book from so far what I have read so far ...the other series im awaiting season 2 is The Guardians of Dafeng. Waiting for season 2
