Not up-to the Hype, but probably Worth a Watch
The next prince didn't stand up to it's hype as stated by many other people as well. It is stated to be a big project with a lot of investment in the set and decor, which can be seen in the series, and it does add a charm to it. But the disappointing part of the drama is the STORY. The story starts out strong, but after 4-5 episodes, it becomes slow and less serious.Positive sides -
- The palace setting and costumes add up to the eye candy
- cute main couple
-Kanin doesn't show as much character development as expected, but there is a bit of progress towards it in the last few episodes
- Realistic portrayal of some real-life issues
Negative sides -
- The story doesn't have enough depth
-Even the portrayal of the peak twist is not that exciting
-None of characters is shown to be really smart

DOMUNDI delivered it - the best supernatural bl series yet !
I found Kemjira standing up to it's expectations in almost all fronts. It was a great watch and totally worth it.Going into the details, the supernatural part was really captivating as well as realistic. Though, I somehow didn't find it frightening, except first and last few episodes, I felt something was missing for it to be actually bone chilling.
I agree the love story was not a typical soap opera one, but it was the specialty of the series, and they did show it really beautifully towards the end.
The Story was well written, complete. The execution and direction was great. Although, some of the episodes felt slow, and could a bit dragged. But, it was still engaging enough.
I do have to agree with the fact that the main cast were really good looking and "cute", which added to the charm of the series!
Overall, it's worth at least watching once.

Perfect and fulfilling
The acting and chemistry of the characters are outstanding. They totally convey the feeling of the story. The storyline is also up to par and does not have any dull moments.- I also loved comedy moments and the deep feelings that are portrayed
- does gives you many other reasons to keep on watching, except the eye candy. Although the looks are also great.

If you are looking for the "WICKED" game - you are at the RIGHT place
After watching a bit more than half of the series, I wanted to write this review, after reading a bit of comments about it.Personally, I do like it a lot, because the best thing about the series is it's thrill.
The series "the WICKED GAME" stands up to it' name and almost none of the main characters follow the CLASSICAL, "kind hearted good personality role", and it kind of sucks. But, I guess that is what it wanted to deliver in the first place, so it is doing it really well. I think it makes the series more realistic and true to human nature.
YES, it does not have much of the typical love scenes, but the STORY is engaging enough, and frankly speaking out of all the Thai BL series realizes in 2025, it is among the only two series which gets me to sit on the edge of the chair out of excitement for the next episode.
