Someone recommended this drama to me as a gateway into jdrama. So I started watching it! But the idea that a girl goes to NURSING instead of MED school is somehow such an repulsive cliché for me. I know that I, with my western norms and ideas, shouldn't judge other cultures. This is based on a manga as well. Perpetuating such clichés is somehow wrong....

It is really good. I was pleasantly surprised. Writing, acting, production...I mean everything is top notch. Shame it was not promoted properly and ended up with a shortened run. We get a steady stream of mediocre series when they should try harder to make a quality product such as 55:15, The Miracle of Teddy Bear and Bad Buddy. With RakDiao they are the only ones worth the time spent watching this year....Quality NOT quantity! When will they understand it?

The music is overwhelming and Elgar is a bit too much. And that is only the first 30min. Promising!

This is so good. Definitely NOT what I thought I was going to see i.e. a BL. It is a coming of age story of a gay young man in a society still plagued by prejudice! it could have taken place anywhere in the world! And the Queen tracklist was perfect! I don't like the title because it makes you believe this is a comedy. It is everything but that! The power of a good title : makes you watch or not! I had this on my PTW list for over a year!

Unfortunately, I did waste my time on this,waiting for it to get amazingly good as everyone raved. And though at one moment it did pick up as I had high hopes that Third had finally given Kai the boot, I was sorely disappointed! Everything you wrote, went through my mind while watching this disaster! The only thing I liked were the episode titles taken from famous romcom movies. I wish I had read your review before as I usually read the reviews rated below seven! You rated it too high!

Great article as usual! As for dropping dramas, I try to watch at least one episode and if nothing holds my attention or there is a completely illogical scene I drop it without regret. I dropped Vincenzo after 30min when he was swindled on the way from the airport: the drama lost all credibility, even fictional, for m. And I usually do not care for fan pressure hype: you liked it, good for you, I don't like it so I don't watch it! Sue me! Or if it is so bad, I just hate watch and rant (I Married My Antifan for example). So my dropped list is huge for someone who's been watching dramas for only two years, but as you say there are plenty of titles to stream so why waste your precious time on something you do not appreciate!

How many reviews have you written so far? You are persistent in pointing out the awful trope that seems to plague lakorns! But if it is so bad, why do you keep finishing these dramas? I do not watch these series (I tried and failed!) and I admire your courage!

Does anyone know who plays the background piano music? It is so sweet!
