Too many "case of the week" episodes, superficial, no main character development, no romance, too little time given to Lee Soo Hyuk, a suicidal dog, unremarkable music, funny, tearjerker, fantasy so suspend belief and logic, easy binge watch, rushed ending! Wasted potential!
Thank you for this dissonant voice of reason, ! I was really fed up with seeing only rave reviews! Unanimous praises due to fawning over MLs' abs have been triggering my alarm bells! I needed to read this: it helps decide whether to watch this or not!
Another great review. They tackled too many issues quite superficially and completely forgot about their main characters( it looks like an US police procedural where policemen take the back burner to the "Case Of The Week".) untill last 3 episodes which was too late. What did you think of the episode with the suicidal dog? BTW- Frankly, I am unpleasantly surprised by your good ratings. I was expecting a much harsher grade considering how meticulously analytical your reviews are!
Hear, hear!!!! I slogged through the whole drama wanting to find out why everyone was raving about it! Couldn't find the reason! But I ended up discovering the second lead syndrome (this was one of the first dramas I'd seen when I jumped into this rabbit hole called Kdrama and at the time did not want to drop anything). This drama is just so bad filled with annoying and unlikable characters and incomprehensible and illogical plot! WOW, you figured the whole drama out just by watching the first episode! Now I realize just how bad it is! Thanks!
No, it definitely is NOT a masterpiece. Just an interesting drama ruined by the FL (the actress cannot act ! And is THE only one - EVER - that Lee Joon Gi had ZERO chemistry with) and fortunately saved and completely stolen by the SML Lee Soo Hyuk. I am happy you liked it so much though! It means there is a drama for each one of us: some you like while the others don't and vice vers! Nice and concise review!!!

I do not mind animals being reborn as people and vice versa but wasn't the RM Team founded in order to save PEOPLE not every single living being (animal, plant) who is suicidal! That is the plothole! Did I misunderstand the basic premis of this drama? See earlier episodes in which the Godess Lady explains to the Grim Reapers why she wants the RM Team!
WTF is this dog episode?!?!? Didn't they set the team up to save people & country due to low natality rate? Suicidal dog? Give me a break!!! What a waste of episode! I am just so furious: instead of giving us more backstory of our Grim reapers they are wasting time with a dog story. Moreover, apparently the dog can be reincarnated into a human so what is the point of this RM team!!!! A PLOTHOLE the size of universe! A bit of basic plot logic is needed even if it is fantasy! This went from a solid 9 drama to ZERO!!!!!

Cute! A bit on the cheap side but cute nevertheless! My pet peeve: can't get used to this manga like height difference: extremely awkward! I had the same problem with semantic Error!
This is another gem from CH3, after The Miracle of Teddy Bear. I wonder if there are other series coming because now I am ready to watch everything they make!!!!!
