More than anything, I think that speaks to Fei Foon’s character as a person. Seeing him step in to protect Ms.H reminded me of how he was very hesitant to shoot the drug lord in Episode 1. It’s giving, yes these people may be criminals but I’ve gotten so close to them emotionally that I can’t be detached and just kill them/see them be killed. It also got me thinking about the toll being undercover can take on a person because these aren’t just chess pieces on a board, they are living and breathing humans who you spend time with and get to know. Pity we only have 9 episodes so can’t explore this bit.

They did touch on this when Fei Foon was in the office with Ms. H. He said “what a pity his people saved him”

Speculation is that when Fei Foon gut punched Vincent, he felt the lighter there. There is also the added speculation that when he pointed the gun at Vincent, he deliberately pressed it against the lighter to be sure there was minimal injury. Just like everyone else, I like to suspend my disbelief when it comes to fiction, however the lighter theory has me checking YouTube for how possible that was and what I saw was that it is possible for a lighter to block a bullet (a man once had coins block a bullet), however, it needs something to absorb the impact to reduce the force of entry. I’ll just take it that the screenwriter did not do adequate research on the lighter theory before adopting it. But I’ll overlook. The only thing I have an issue with is the lack of blood after the shot. Like how did Ms.H and her goons ignore that? I think that’s something the production team should have handled better. But I guess we have to wait for the Episode 7 reaction in two weeks to understand the logic. I was hoping their recent livestream would touch on it but Kingston said they hadn’t watched it yet.

Why hasn’t the damn rating increased?????? I can’t believe in two weeks I won’t have Vincent and Fei Foon on my screen again

To top it up, he is a gaslighter!!!! May he end up alone at the end.
