Both Mew and Art made the mistakes. They both were very public about the issue instead of handling it privately. Before Art even did his live, Mew had been posting tweets about the issue about his feelings. Yes, they both could have handled the issue better but it's been three years. Why don't we move on? Clearly, both Mew and Art have moved on so why are people still here bashing the both of them? They both made mistakes and these mistakes have already caused them to both receive consequences. A lot of time has passed and I feel that the issue does not need to be discussed any further. This was an issue that was between Mew and Art. It is not up to an outsider to continue to hate or bash either side. They both seem to have gotten over it and we should too. For the sake of their happiness and their careers.
It's like these last two episodes have a completely different vibe from the rest. While the others are light and fluffy, these are just so dark and emotional. It feels like they should be apart of another series entirely. Like the ending feels rushed and it just feels like the writer just gave up and could care less about what was built in the other episodes.
Xi Gu suffered more than enough but now instead of continuing on with letting him be happy, they go in the complete opposite direction. It was just too pointless and unnecessary.
I understand not everything in life has a happy ending but HIStory is not known to give such endings. If I wanted a sad ending, I would just find the many other shows that would provide me with one.
