hmm, you're probably right that it's closer to Russian, but from what I hear, it's still similar enough to Polish that its possible for speakers to understand each other o:
ehh that's unfortunate D: German is still pretty cool though hehe ^u^
although my school has the option of taking Mandarin or Japanese most people end up taking French or Spanish anyway xD
I don't know about the Mandarin or Spanish classes but I noticed that the Japanese class has far more students that are actually interested in learning in comparison to the French class... I guess it's because some people just want to study French since it's the other official language and it's useful for some government jobs, while the people in the Japanese class just want to learn Japanese for fun hehe ^o^
and hehe thanks~ somehow I just find knowing extra languages can be really useful :D

no problem~ ^u^
hmm, I might try it later then :D I'll definitely watch it one day at least, cause it feels weird knowing that I haven't watched such a famous drama xD
and yeah, I started watching City Hunter probably almost 2 months ago but somehow I haven't finished yet.. I would say that it's pretty entertaining but I'm not really liking the main female lead, NaNa... I guess I just expected her to be more... badass? xD
I suppose she's a bit better than most generic female leads but I still find that her character doesn't stray too far from the usual.. if you don't care too much about the female lead then you might like it though ^^
the action parts are pretty cool, Minho is pretty cool, and the story is okay although its rather predictable, I just didn't find it to be as remarkable as most people make it out to be :P

hmmm since I haven't finished either I don't know if it'll get better or worse.. the flower boy series isn't exactly a work of art but for what it is, it's pretty nice :D
ah, my parents were born in Ukraine and they grew up speaking Russian, so although I was born in Canada it was my first language ^u^

I see you're currently watching Shut Up: Flower Boy Band o:
I really liked that one although I never managed to finish it somehow xD still so sad about Byung Hee ;3;
how is it so far?
Good list! Makes me want to date in Korea now >.<
I wouldn't really go for couple rings or clothes unless I was seriously dating someone but I think stuff like couple phone charms are a really cute way to subtly look couple-y. I would love going on a date at the aquarium or an art gallery or somewhere else where I can be a big ol' nerd, but karaoke is a no-no for me... Sorry, but a tiny room with bad acoustics combined with off-key singing is not my idea of a good date. Maybe if we've been dating long enough that I'm sure they won't run away after hearing my downright terrible singing voice, but otherwise no.
A couple things (haha... couple... get it? haha.. sorry.. bad pun) I thought of is going to the beach even in the freezing cold (Flower Boy Next Door, anyone?) and as you mentioned, all those couple holidays like Pepero Day and Diary Day, and also 100th Day anniversaries. Too bad the only day I'm eligible to celebrate is Black Day TT TT

Hey, thanks for the request! I see you're watching Pretty Boy right now - is it any good? I was thinking of checking it out after I finish some other stuff I was watching. I mean, I'd probably watch it anyway just for Jang Geun Suk and IU, but it's reassuring to know when there's a good plot. Anyway, have a nice day~

Hey there, thanks for the add! I see you're a fan of I Hear Your Voice and Reply 1997 as well? Somebody has good taste ;D
Its cool how Sungkyunkwan Scandal inspired you so much! I'm usually not too big on sageuk dramas but now i'm kinda tempted to watch :)
This whole drama could have been prevented if she approached the lawyers with the evidence and chose to remain…
I can't say the story is flawless, but as I understand, you haven't finished watching the drama which may contribute to your misunderstanding. It was revealed in a later episode that HS never actually took a clear photo of the scene so it was never used as evidence. It was MJG's reaction that confirmed his guilt. Therefore, they couldn't have approached anyone anonymously. Even if they really did have evidence, you can't blame HS for revealing her identity as she was still young at the time and may not have thought of staying anonymous as a possibility. Also, testifying was just a game of who was right or wrong, and it was important that DY's father was there to witness this moment. HS wanted DY's father to know that she was a righteous person and that DY, being too scared to testify and reveal the truth, was not. Lastly, in SK the minimum years to be served for life sentence is 10 years until eligibility for parole, so I'm assuming that he got out on parole because of his good behavior and willingness to serve the community.
