just because the age of consent is 16 doesnt make it less weird to be a grown adult and date a high school student... theyre in completely different phases of their lives, even if its consensual. zhigang should know better than get a job for a teenager in a gay bar, yu xigu would end up in trouble at some point, and it would be his fault and only his fault because hes the adult in charge. but ofc his job at a gay bar is a big part of the plot, still doesnt make it ok to zhigang to blame haoting when he was the one who gave yu xigu the job... it just doesnt make sense.
