ep 11 felt like a gift, the perfect ending especially since i honestly thought we were only getting 10 eps. i'm gonna miss them soooooo much but kenshin and junsei did hirukawa and minase justice so well that i'm not even thaaaat sad that it's over :') i loved this drama a lot, jbls ilysm 💌
i don't understand the point of the reel format? they went to those locations and hired all those actors anyway why not just not film it normally TT but it was just so good that it didn't bother me eventually! the actors all did a great job and the story was super cutesy and feel good ^^
the first three episodes were just so good. from cinematography, acting, writing, editing, everything was shaping it into being a masterpiece but it all went downhill with the time skip, not only does the writing not make any sense anymore but even the editing has gotten confusing.
the only thing i enjoy now are the flashbacks to younger them. and it's not just because of how pure the innocence of young love is, the writing is just terrible for older them, they didn't know what to do with the characters and their plots at all and i just don't want them to be together anymore. their reunion wasn't enjoyable, and neither was them "solving their misunderstandment" which still doesn't make any sense despite the so called explanation.
it's a shame that this show didn't end up being that good but a cut of their highschool days would make it in my hall of fame. first three eps were just that good.
small detail mess up compared to how little effort they put into writing the plot but Hellfire Club wasn't a thing in 2018 lol so chen yi shouldn't have that shirt
I don't think the ex is even dead tbh, she's so psychotic it'd make sense for her to disappear just to ruin his life.
I know they showed bones in the preview but it wouldn't be the first time a preview was misleading, same with them showing the mom's dislike to make people think it's her even tho that would literally make no sense considering her obssession with her career, same with the CEO friend tho they could work with that better imo.
But yea, if they *are* her bones then it'll probably re-open the case with him as major suspect and that'll be the plot for the next few episodes ?
I saw someone say Do Ha having actually killed her would be a good plot twist and although it would be objectively it'd still leave a hugely bitter after taste considering this whole drama has been about his mental health and him dealing with the toxic women around him lol him and Sol Hee have such a sweet balance. having her brother be the killer would be a better twist.
Sol Hee's ex is the confusing part so far bc i just don't get what they wanna do with him, he's been a good guy despite giving Sol Hee her trust issues lol maybe he's just filler storyline like the CEO getting cheated on idk
But yea anyway, I hope she's alive bc that would fully clear Do Ha and rid him of her psycho brother and public judgment unless the murderer (since her bones were burried) confesses. sigh. there's so many episodes left too. Kdramas are so complicated man.
