I loved the recent eps of 13 and 14. Even if it took a little longer so see the GuMijeong reunion they executed the build up in a way that flowed so nicely. Can we talk about the side by side juxtaposition of both of them taking the train back home? That was so so beautiful and defs a legendary and touching scene. It's significant that Gu was the one that left first but he for sure missed the Yeom home the most, as if he never left, while the siblings had to move on.

The GuMijeong reunion was the cutest scene EVER, it's like they fall back into place perfectly and they were both looking around acting all shy. She finally got to ask for his name!! A win!!

Also I'm convinced where they sat at the table just drinking and being in each other's company... that literally was not Mr Gu it was literally Suk ku just smiling and admiring Jiwon tell me I'm not wrong

Waited a week for a kiss that wasn't even shown on screen properly... talk about bad camera angles OMFG.... I wanted to cry I just want to see the tension they've built up until that moment fml

I've seen a lot of kfans/GuMijeong shippers going crazy about them not showing the kiss lol

I wish they'd shown how YJH and PTJ convinced their coach to bring back Taeyang as it would help fill in some of the gaps that explain their relationship after fighting like literally a few days before instead of a timeskip.

Only problem is the flow and the backstory that makes these characters seem to have such odd conversations and dialogues with each other. Imo it's just a bit dull and boring. Hopefully it gets better with more lighter/happier moments tbh the bullying is kinda getting old like we get it

I've always thought that the the main leads relationship and her with YJH was way too different. Like the dialogue from the start doesn't flow well and the first 2 eps was just them feeling a bunch of random filler emotions tbh. Probably just to get viewers familiar with the set up for future eps, I hope

already seeing some stuff about the cast LMAO please understand the genre and tone of the drama and how it's written and expressed considering the director's intention in mind it's just a silly funny cute drama y'all

so happy about kim youngdae's first lead role!! he's improving a lot and doing really well with his character & also with the familiar penthouse cast too. the casting with his and sungkyung's visuals are soooo on point and so good they look SO good together! now we just wait for the next eps~

So glad I'm not the only one! I felt they did add too much of subplots and side stuff during the last two eps after dragging out the thing with the grandfather as much as they could. It had a suitable ending but the pace and flow of it ruined the stories between the couples imo

Is the last scene with the voiceover an alternate ending for the couple if they didn't argue like they did? Like in all honesty I didn't mind if they were endgame or not because I enjoyed their process of getting to know each other and falling in love. They had their run, lost their strength to encourage each other and were breaking trying to do long distance. There were factors that meant breaking up. I could see how they could get together when BYJ came back to Korea but I think he was too far in his career to care about his relationship status. I am so fond of both in their transformation as people though. Heedo lived to have a successful fencing career so she worked hard, Yijin tried his best to grow up when he wasn't ready to and got to bring his family together in the end. Not everything lasts forever and I think I was okay with that.

same, i'm thinking for now he's still the caring brother type. in ep8 when heedo puts the sticker of him and his ex gf from high school and scoffs it off by walking away yijin responds, "what's her problem/ or like what the..?" that kind of tone instead of saying something like "is she jealous?" i don't think he's explored his feelings for her yet. but he knows she brings out a different point of view to him in the same way that he does to heedo maturely

I hope Yijin and Heedo rekindle their relationship soon. From the beginning they promised that they'd be happy whenever they were together :( Also, did anyone notice the little foot lift from Heedo when she collided with Yijin?? Criessss I was so excited heheh

EP8 Cliffhanger and multiple misunderstandings!?!?! Hello??? Writers why are you doing this to us, making us wait another week, I got excited by the still cuts T_T

Word says that think Heedo will win but it will be a controversial win. Since everyone likes Yoorim and the coach is biased towards Yoorim they might complain and Yijin will try to handle the referee who was the foreigner asking for tteokbokki

finally, the thymegorya endgame starts! but also, the real drama starts now. despite the external forces telling them to stop being around each other, i hope they can overcome it! i love the focus on thyme in this ep, the little details, eye contact and even the tones in his voice showing that he's falling for gorya. bright really understood the assignment :D
