For Dating in the kitchen as well, the male lead was in his mid 30s. All other male leads were in their mid to late 20s while filming. Exactly. Even the historical one (Fengdengji) which ZLS said in her livestream that she wants to film , has a nice & unique storyline. It little bit reminded me of kdrama Taxi driver where they used to undertake cases & take revenge for the victim. Infact all the storyline of the drama IPs acquired by ZLS studio are quite different from what we see in the cdrama industry. I think she's in a position where she needs good quality drama scripts instead of quantity since she's quite established & has both domestic and international popularity.
