Hi. I started watching this and due to the hype was waiting for it to complete. I have finished the 5th episode now, but I do not find it gripping, though I love a fantasy romance. Does it get better?

I don't understand the hate she gets. Her acting was bad in the initial dramas but liked her in run on and rookie historian, there are so many more other actors that are terrible at acting( worse than her)
I started watching this and the acting of all the characters is really good but the lead character, with his impromptu laughter does make me feel more disconnected with him. The plot is fairly simple to me. There are just a bunch of characters and it's easy to figure out who are the bad guys, but that's also okay as you want to know the how's and the whys and that's where I felt bored with the drama. Also it felt completely unnecessary to me that the lead detective spread her fingers himself rather than call it in. If it was something related to police procedure or to catch him in it with evidence etc, few episodes later they just barge into his house when he was moving the body, so I did not understand this aspect at all The motives of his killing was not really much dealt on, did not get to know how and why in depth since the first half was on serial killings and second half on the detectives sister. A lot of people just keeping mundane stuff from each other, which actually served no purpose. Even the playing games with each other which could be entertaining felt bland, because except for some theatrics, I felt that it did not solve much, especially in the first half. All in all I did enjoy the characters but did not make me much invested in it. It did not make me feel that I need to binge watch or have me on the edge of my seat.
I like watching romantic dramas but here i am not looking forward to the romance but the family dynamics. i wish the FL had a different romantic interest
i just started watching this and cannot continue beyond episode 6. the ML s sister and himself need therapy. Threatening the ex boyfriend with murder, kidnapping the female lady, hypocrisy of the female lead asking baitong to marry the guy she mistakenly slept with after leading her on and going through the same thing. Can somebody tell me if its worth it to continue.
the biggest turn off for me was the injured ML s makeup. its very poorly done and whats up with the bandage on the completely normal eye. I died laughing when he removed the bandage and instantly no injuries..

To your second comment it's mentioned that one cannot change the fate of accidental death/ natural death, thats y she thought she could not change the fate of her daughter. Infact since she saved them all, then Ga Hyun came up with the theory of serial killer.
