This wasn't a good show. The acting wasn't good, the writing was even worse, and there's not one likable person in the show. Granted, I don't even care if most of the characters aren't likable, at least make them entertaining. The FL is beyond stupid and the decisions she makes throughout the show frustrated me so much. When she started getting blackmailed, I was rooting for the blackmailer. That's how stupid she was.
Baek Je Na has potential to be interesting but she wasn't really giving anything at all. Every time she was on screen, she literally had like two facial expressions. But her backstory is the most interesting thing about her character so far.
There's not one likable person in this show. Everyone is either mean for no reason or beyond stupid. Not one character is written well and the mystery takes a back seat to focus on how stupid and desperate Kim Hye In is for money. She spends a good chunk of the show complaining about how bad her life is and how much she hates being poor. In the beginning, they did have her work but once getting accepted into the school, she starts doing things just to get money (including changing in front of a perv boy). I don't mind a power hungry character but the way she's written is so bad that it doesn't seem like she even has a brain. It also doesn't help that the actress isn't a strong actress either.
A show like this should be easy to write. Rich kids behaving badly, murder/mystery, and some romance. With a show like this, all you have to do is write well written characters and have characters that even if they aren't the most likable, you still want them to win. I can give or take the acting since strong writing matters more to me. Instead, we got this poorly written and acted show.
Despite not enjoying the show, I did thought the plot twist at the end was kinda interesting. Since it's not a long show and since I love to torture myself, I'm going to give Season 2 a chance but I'm in no rush to watch it.
