In the intro they mention the novel "with the same title". Does anybody know anything about it?

Four months have passed and still I'm broken after finishing watching this drama. I tried to move on in many different ways but I have yet to find something that can make me feel as I was taking this journey again. The novel was good too, but I feel like the drama is a masterpiece in its own right. I never thought I would be into historical chinese dramas but I think that the beauty of this drama trascends genres. If you are still not sure whether to watch this or not, please try it!
