The MFL being married to another guy at the start is certainly different for Chinese period drama.

Yet another cdrama without a happy ending. It's good thing I've learned my lesson and have been waiting for them to complete before I start watching.

I refuse to start this show until I know it's happy ending but I just finished the other two shows I was watching!

Is it wrong that I have never started this show because I don't like the FL's hair...

You've convinced me, I'm going to give it a shot there are plenty of sub 8 shows I've ended up loving.

I was pretty hooked after the 1st episode too, it's really too bad.

Yikes, I was just into EP 2 when I realized I didn't chack if it's a happy ending. Thank God I didn't waste anymore time with this one

I definitely wouldn't call it a happy ending like it says. It is much more like a bitter sweet ending in my opinion. Love isn't some magical thing only seeing each other a few days a years isn't going to last.

So he really did commit suicide in the beginning? I really thought there was going to be a murder reveal with that. The show had a few parts I expected a big secret payoff from but it just kinda kept leaving me hanging.

I've seen enough kdramas to be filled with dread when I see happy characters early on knowing I have 10+ hours of pain to look forward to before happiness comes back

I really hope you're right. But for now I think I might just drop this one until I know it's a happy ending im getting some bitter sweet vibes for some reason

I don't see any novel or web toon that this is based on. It appears to be an original made for TV show

I really hate the direction this seems to be going. This poor man who has had his spirit destroyed is going to spend this whole show busting his ass to rekindle their love. She will find the divorce papers or over hear something about it and he will have to do it again as he does love her. Meanwhile we forget she has a lot to prove to him too and he's not the only one at fault.

I hate that it's up to the guy to prove anything. The man has had his soul crushed for the last 3 years. She has a lot to prove to him too he isn't the only one at fault here.

This show doesn't take itself seriously enough for anything other than a happy ending imo. Any kind of sad ending would be frustratingly out of place

I think I'm about to drop the show just because I hate his character. It's hard to root for a toxic relationship.

The music playing during that scene makes me feel like it's fake.

I love how kdramas make strong female characters. They are good at making them strong but still notably flawed to keep them entertaining and relatable.

Not often do you get fluff at the end to give you plenty of closure but this one did and it really perfect

The first episode has me feeling like this is going to one of those awkward romance dramas where the incredibly beautiful MFL is called average or ugly most of the show.
