But now I'm attached to Ki Cheol and don't want to see him go down even if he is a criminal. He's a sad boy inside and I'm a sucker for sad boys masquerading as tough guys lol
Too old? Tsuge's actor is younger than Kurosawa's, lol.
Sorry, I barely remember this show now but looking at the actors, he just seemed older than everyone else and out of place to me for some reason. Just my opinion.
Yes, it's messy, cringe and silly. The plot is ridiculous. There's a lot of ugly crying and Thua needs smacked upside the head. It does have the chemistry though guys.
What is up with the continued, and completely unaddressed domestic violence? Not to mention the acting was not great and some of the kiss scenes were really hard to watch. Lastly, the product placement was so subtle, I almost didn't realize there was a sponsor lmao.
I skipped through all of Tsuges parts. He was just too old for me and I didn't like the pairing. Also, It was really disappointing that there is not even one kiss between the leads. This is the tamest BL I've ever seen. Tamer than Korean BL and that's hard to do.
The plot was pretty good with minimal holes. The acting was touch and go. I'm not a fan of Earth so I was forced to skip most of his scenes. I really loved Perth in the past but he didn't do it for me this time. Same with Mean. Not to be rude but he could easily have played Dean. I really didn't see the point of the part he did get at all. To be honest, and this is my main complaint, this could have been a 10 for me if Pharm didn't have the emotional maturity of a 12 year old. I felt like I was watching a mid 20s man try to coax a Jr high kid into going further than he was comfortable going. Not my cup of tea. This was made worse with the comments about Pharms behavior during the "I gave him medicine for you" scene which takes place towards the end of the series. Also, I must add how annoying the soundtrack was. Not only was it too loud at times but also jarring during love scenes when it was quiet and someone just started singing, like wheres the quietly getting louder instrumental lead in to build the moment? As a side note, living for Team and Win. Hopefully, Team doesn't feign such wide eyed innocence in Between Us as Pharm did here.
Everything up to the last episode is great. I suggest skipping it and making up your own ending. No matter what ending you choose in your head it will be 100% better than this I guarantee it.
