wait lol this whole time i thought it had 12 eps bc the end of ep 10 felt like it wasnt over yet???

personally i dont mind hair color change, name change etc, i was just kinda hoping for something like the king's eternal which still had the fantasy royal aesthetics

man i wish they kept it in a fantasy victorian era like the manhwa instead of joseon :(

i know this show is pretty silly, but i enjoy watching it each week

coming back to this after having watched ep 12, and like idk guys it was just okay. I might be alone in this but i actually was hoping for kotnim and jiwon to get together like way earlier in the show so that was a happy surprise!

either way i fucking hate study abroad 1 yr time skip plots lol soooooo cliche. this drama went downhill after a while

ML obviously has abandonment issues (mom always dating someone new,ex gf leaving him to go abroad the first time, seeing jiwon be super clingy with bunny and him "saving her" before he could) so I'm totally unsurprised by his response to her studying abroad esp since he seemed okayish with it until he found out jiwon was also going to new york. I think we can have some empathy for him lol. Plus bunny was totally aware that jiwon was into her unless she's actually stupid... she should've set much clearer boundaries.

I really enjoyed when they leaned into the comedy. Decent watch :)

I felt incredibly weird about the malsoon x daniel romance. it felt forced and I couldn't get over the age gap til the end, i really would have preferred she got with mr park.

didn't realise this was one ep per week. soooo slow

I feel that its just lazy writing to have an ending where one lead goes abroad and acts like they cant text the other person and then after a one year skip they get back together in the last two minutes. Most of the last episode was just filler and I'd have preferred more focus on the main couples actual romance :( Not enough chemistry scenes but the rest was cute.
