Umai/Oishi Compilation
I feel like my rating is biased due to my huge, unwavering crush on Hideya Tawada, but this show is just too cute! It's very slice of life, very chill and sweet with just the right amount of character depth to make it interesting.The main characters are so, so sweet and the acting is great. Honestly it feels like a blessing to have a romance drama with actual good side characters. Yohei and Shoji were a fun addition to the plot.
This show feels super rewatchable and I can absolutely see myself rewatching it whenever I need a serotonin boost.

The Only Childhood Friends Story I've Enjoyed
As my headline says, the childhood friends trope never really does it for me. But in this story, I actually liked it a lot. Maybe it's because they're still pretty young or because the actors really sell it, but I was hooked. Cute little story with great performances from everyone :)Also, now I feel like every drama based around miscommunications needs a gay friend who will tell the MC's to get their shit together and talk to each other.
