I had the same idea as you till ep 20. after that everything got better & better, By the time I finished the drama, I realized why it has rated 9.4...I'm not implying that this drama is flawless but it's worth watching till the end.

Totally agree with you, But for some reason I gave it 10 back then haha, Don't know why! probably because I enjoyed it a lot therefore I closed my eyes to the flaws. Indeed there were so many shortcomings. For the lawyer part, I guess the writer wanted to show some kind of Irony? Like if we consider the career of the two leads, one of them is an actress who is suppose to be good at acting and pretending, However she was the most genuine character of the story . On the other hand the male lead who is suppose to be the best lawyer of the town, Kind and responsible! he was so logical in handling his cases ( like one of the scene when he was at the court and got emotional), yet when it came to Gee he was the most cruel and unreasonable person. Actually, in the real world that doesn't make sense!
