other thoughts: -FL's mom is the most annoying character in the world, but I understand why she's there: it's a reality -Office scenes got a little draggy when ML resigned, I skipped some scenes -ML isn't as mature as we think, he's whiny and easily gets jealous, not a super red flag but it was kinda annoying too, but again it's kinda norma given the age gap, I just don't like how he's kinda glorified for being a "mature younger guy"
wow that was crazy good, I wasn't expecting much but wow I was immediately hooked. The story was well-written, there were almost no filler scenes. The characters developed well, even the 2nd and 3rd couples (mind you, I usually dislike the 2nd leads because I feel like their scenes are just to extend the show). This show touched on taboo subjects such as age gap, traditional Chinese parents, DINKs, and many more. It's one of those shows that didn't even feel like I was watching a drama because I was so invested, it felt like real life. I'm a huge fan of older woman-younger man dramas and this is definitely the best. I wish I discovered this drama earlier and I'm surprised not a lot of people talk about it. The claims that it's one of the best cdramas is absolutely true, it's so much better than Find Yourself and Why Women Love. It's very realistic and empowering, but also light and fun. 10/10 recommend!

Does anyone remember that episode where Sue tells Rose she wants her funeral to be beautiful and that Rosé can't cry? That's such a beautiful episode but I can't remember which episode
ok I finished it and can I just say... that was p good! I usually prefer heavy, mature-themed dramas because they feel more realistic, high school romances can get really cliché and boring but this was really good. I wasn't too sure about the cast, especially Rainbow, because idols-turned-actors aren't always very good, but her acting was decent and not cringey. The story kept me hooked as well, and they were sooo cute together, they made me smile so much! It's a very light drama (there's barely any conflict). Not a huge fan of the "not -so-smart girl chases smart guy" but oh well, it wasn't terrible so yay for that. Give it a watch if you want something light and fun!
Update: finished it!! 10/10 for me, painful but also beautiful. It felt very real, like those dramas where u get so emotional and feel like you're part of it. Pretty fast-paced, so much happened in 13 eps and I'm all for that. If you want a very emotional drama, this is the drama. More thoughts below, I'll mark them as spoilers
I'm on the 7th episode and I'm kinda addicted, suggest dramas like this pls I need stuff to watch after this:)) chinese, taiwanese or korean it doesn't matter as long as it's good!
