The second half redeems it.
The first few episodes are all over the place, almost to the point that I felt that the 20-25 minutes per episode were not enough to actually explain what and why people were doing what they were doing. This issue gets sorted out around episode 7-8, when you kind of get a feel for what each character is made of.
The ghosthunting thing was a quirky plot setting...but the main reason for you to watch this should be Erek Lin, who plays Amber...I really enjoyed his performance. He brought a certain subtlety to his acting, which made it really natural and enjoyable.
Overall, a good, quick watch of a story with a new type of conflict.
