I agree....the same formula keeps getting regurgitated every episode. No matter how great the chemistry is, it gets dull after 8-9 episodes of the same tactics. :/
Wow. I am so impressed by this drama. Not only are these men handsome as heck, but they can really ACT. I usually just put up with the cringy acting and/or scenarios because there aren't many BL shows that interest me (due to poor plotlines or performance), so I'll tolerate it if one of the actors I like carries the show. 2gether, however, brilliantly encompasses great storyline, great visuals, great chemistry, and great performance without sacrificing one for the other.
I enjoy the musical element, the comedic side-characters, and how the drama incorporates humour and authenticity by acknowledging common cliches, which coincidentally helps them avoid traversing down that tired, beaten path we've seen so many times before. I hope they continue to maintain this for the rest of the show.
Most importantly, Sarawat and Tine's chemistry is SO FREAKING GOOD!!! My god. Tension that hot could honestly commit straight-up murder. What's also really amazing is that Bright and Win's off-screen chemistry isn't as strong compared to some of the other BL actors, however, their ability to naturally turn up the heat in front of the cameras often leaves you winded and hurting, making them one of the most powerful on-screen couples. A true testament to their dynamic acting talents. Stan duality kings, guys.
Ok also they're like, ridiculously good-looking? I've never seen such a beautiful BL couple before, especially ones that can act. I also like how they're both insanely attractive in such different ways: Sarawat completely exemplifies the breathtaking stoic bad boy with a killer jawline and perfectly disheveled hair that your mama warned you about but you can't help but promise your first born to anyway just for one. more. look. ALSO THOSE LIPS!!! THAT EYE SMOULDER!!! Kill me, do not resuscitate. Tine is the kpop visual you've always dreamed about dating but also somehow simultaneously envious of just because of how beautiful he is? His features are really harmoniously balanced and demonstrate a charismatic softness and manliness at the same time. ALSO HIS LIPS TOO?!? HIS HEIGHT/PROPORTIONS??!! HIS EYE-CRINKLING LAUGH?!! Again, do not resuscitate. Their vastly different appeals complement and elevate each other so perfectly—Sarawat brings the edginess and Tine softens it.
I could honestly write a 50-paged thesis about how good this drama is but you should just go witness this beautiful couple in action yourself. I discovered 2gether literally only two days ago and I've been re-watching all 3 episodes again and again in anticipation for the next one LMAO.
I'm literally rescheduling plans so I can watch it when it comes out lmao.
