Its not just in korea , it happens to everybody because apparently your guilty until proven innocent but how can…
And I get that it's not easy. Not all of the victims have a courage to speak up, that's understandable and it's not their fault. And those who are able to speak up, not all of the adults around them take it seriously. Some may invalidate their feelings saying that it's just a quarrel between friends.
While they have no proof but their feeling is real. The problem is once they speak up years later, people may doubt them because so many false accusations occurred.

You're right. And that what happened during kim garam's case. In her defense, she did that to defend her friend from getting bullied and sexually harassed by the alleged victim but garam left a record paper on her school report. That doesn't work on her favor because even if her statements were true and she had reasons to confront, the alleged victim had a solid evidence.

Ikr, it's not like we document our whole life. And we're not a king, who has somebody types every single move and trajectory we have. Both the accusers and the public figures usually don't have any proof fGs.
You know whether the allegation is true or not, once it publicly spreads, public figures are always getting harm by it. Even if someday the accusation proofed to be false, they already got the damage. Because in the industry, despite having skills and visuals, brand reputation is also important.
When the rumour is raising, they had to delay and maybe cancelled some projects. And they had to pay for the penalty and lost some trust. For them, a mere article or a post can cost their whole career. But for the accusers, whether it's true or not, once it becomes a public concern, they win.
But public figures easily becomes a target. It's difficult to proof whether they're innocent or not, because rarely there's no document or anything. Just like there's no proof when the accusers issued it. The least we can get is only statements. My question is why does public usually believe the accusers when both parties don't have any proof to support their stances?
I understand if we need to play netral and voice the matter more so we can find the truth. But the problem is people are easily attacking public figures as if they're a punching bag of their angers.
The irony is, even if it proofed to be false, the accusers stayed anonymous and faced no consequences. And the biggest irony, they said they defend a (possible) victim of a bullying, but what they're doing is far from defending someone, they're cyber bullying.
It’s less about them and more about the industry. Pretty faces shouldn’t be forcefully paired up with actors…
Hypocrite, like are you gonna pretend the wave hate against them is not real? People are attacking them, only a few is talking about the industry. Even some of those who are talking about the industry is low-key shading them in disguise.
I thought he was just a hot prince
